My critique is that we are UGA.
Chubb. Michel. Gurley. Swift.
Hearst. Davis. Trippi. Walker.

RBU.

3rd down matters. We should have been better prepared for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

We are a top 10 program of all time.
We are perennially a top 5 program under Kirby.
I think the 3rd down running back matters a lot more than others do.

Who were all of these great pass catching backs we faced last season, better than Cash?

Off the top of my head, Kevin Riley against us in the 2025 season.

Just for context at UGA, we have had Daijun Edwards, Kenny McIntosh, and James Cook in the recent past.
We have had excellent targets at running back in this Kirby Smart run.

Edit to add: i firmly believe that contributions from Cook and McIntosh in the receiving game significantly helped our national championship runs. Our high powered offense in 2022 had tight end, wide receiver, and running back as the top 3 receiving threats. This is formulaic to the 2019 LSU attack as well.

I’d assume he will be on the practice squad unless he doesn’t clear waivers.

They kept 4 QBs and 2 RBs makes no sense but it is the Falcons

I don't follow the NFL, but if there's a team more hostile to the feeder program in the same state that constantly puts talent in the league than the Falcons are to UGA, I don't know who it would be.

I historically have given tremendous respect to subject matter experts ... people who have done the job for a long time....

That said, as it pertains to NFL drafting and roster management, I am not sure these overpaid dilrods get it right any more than the upper half of a fantasy football league....

You could just take UGA defensive players and Bama/LSU/Florida guys and field a better team than the Falcons or Titans ever produce.

Look at philly for God's sake.

If you follow them it makes perfect sense. The best QB they have is a UDFA from D2 school.

They’ve gotten better in last 4-5 years. Some players just haven’t worked out. Branch and J Walker are early picks for them lately.

I just can't help but think if the Falcons would give Stet a shot, their attendance/viewership would be through the roof.

If you have 4 QBs you don't have one.

I haven’t watched an NFL game in a decade or so, but I would probably watch a Falcons’ game if he were starting at QB.

Same. They've elevated stepping on their own dicks to an artform.

Stet has never been a free agent. He will be after this season.

I completely understand. I'm thinking proactively after this contract year.

They'll definitely be in the market for a QB. Penix sucks.

Cash did make the practice squad. I guess if Bijan or Brian Robinson get hurt he could get moved on to the roster.

Of all the things the falcons have done, this might be the Falconist.

Oh, I thought he was trying to say the old "if you have 2 qbs, then you have no qbs" line. Thanks.
