I called the number, and it is Saul who answers, welcoming me to his flock.

Pure brilliance.

That's pretty cool.

Check out the facemelter hidden in the pictures of Huell too.....

-at first it looks like he's painting a line
-but he's actually painting over a line
-covering it up
-Ka-boom!

The next episode is called Wiedersehen.

So I guess we say goodbye to some Germans?

perhaps. Kai still seems like a likely candidate IMO.

Kai is the demolitions guy, and they only have one more rock to blast... right?

yes I believe that's his specialtiy, and mike told gus they have one more area to blast due to the elevator shaft in the way.

I hate it for the head guy/old man, I was really hoping he didn't get killed for just trying to be friendly.

I like the idea of BB 3 - Better Call Kim. She is really creating a good character in this show and one worthy of a spin-off. I think it was a mistake to kill off Mike. They could have had Mike disappearing too; then have all 3 characters intersect again. I don't think there's much to write with Jesse. They killed off his girlfriend. As for this season, I think the writers are setting us up with the German story. They are steering it towards killing all of them or the main guy and the trouble maker. I think they are going to have a big plot twist with this story.

If I recall, they never actually show you Mike die, only him sitting by the river with a gunshot wound.

In my opinion, they are just setting up Gus and the Madrigal bitch's story from Breaking Bad. If you recall, Madrigal is the actual owner of the chicken place, not Gus. And the Madrigal bitch isn't even the honcho at Madrigal. Despite this, in BB, Gus talks to the bitch like he owns her, which is the exact opposite of the reality uncovered by the DEA regarding the business relationship. So, the plot is already twisted, we are just waiting for the writers to show us how it got twisted, filling in the blanks.

I wrote that sarcastically.

Why the hell are we swatching Kim and Jimmy do the same exact shite 4 seasons in?

Kim telling Jim-Saul “let’s do it again” as cliffhanger is worst moment in the entire franchise. BB or BCS.

The Elephant in the Room, IMO....

This show isnt a prequel.

The Jimmy they’ve created could never be Saul. And the Gene character (who was supposedly BB Saul a week or two before we see him) resembles the BCS Jimmy character 1000 times more than he resembles BB Saul.

Is what it is. Still one of the greatest shows ever. But we’re at the point of having to suspend belief just to get by.

Anybody watch 'Better Call Brett' today?...

shite was hilarious. LIndsey Graham will probably edge out Kim Wexler for the emmy.

I feel nauseous.

There’s something really off about the way this Kavanaugh psych professor accuser speaks. It’s freaking me out.

Notice this next time you see clips of her testimony: She subtly decreases volume during a sentence and then increases the volume on the last word of each sentence.

I don’t know how to type it phonetically though.

Look for it though and you’ll see. It will haunt you. Take away the wrinkles and the academic glasses and this is a 69 year old skater chick.

There’s even weird lines on the mountains behind Saul outside the bus window as Saul plays with crayons

Too much win.

The sight line thing is a facemelter revelation though.

Sight lines????

I'm going to miss tomorrow night's episode, won't be able to watch until next weekend. Traveling. Something big is going down, I can feel it. As you have already pointed out, we've been jerked around so many episodes we are due for some big shite.

Agree.

As you know, the trademark window blind lines are a big deal. And how they’ve gradually opened throughout the series. Revealing things on the other side

A weird thing happened twice recently on that front though. The first time it was buried subtly but shockingly in the facemelter intro sequence. That one with the vertical symmetry line in the middle deal. The second time was in last episode .

The exact same shot.

Which confirms the magnitude of its 4 season slow revelation as the blinds opened.

It’s a shot of Kim in her office through the blind lines. With her on the other side. Behind the trademark blind lines.

No character has ever been on that side before.

They did a Walter white fakeout a few episodes ago. I’m thinking if Jessie appears, it’d have to be in the Nacho storyline.

Maybe at Nachos dad’s wake. Or something like that.
