White Heat just came up in BB S2 E12.

Walt is meeting with Saul about laundering money, Saul talks about the movie White Heat.

The figurine heist is yet another loose end. The only advancement of the story it provided is that now we know the cartel does business with the vet too.

The vet was Nachos man. He whispered in his ear (after explaining how nachos wound didn’t smell like there was poo in it) that he didn’t want anything to do with the cartel.

Aka the vet is a dead man walking. Just like Nachos dad. And nacho.

The real revelation/confirmation was “North Platte, Nebraska” Mesa verde branch. And the repeated focus on the framed collection of “keys” in the mike/Saul convergence copier parking garage. Ha ha ha ha! Moo hoo ha ha ha!

I keep getting confused, trying to watch BB and BCS concurrently. I probably need to stop.

Last night was one of those episodes where you have to be patient, i guess, and just trust the show. And realize this boredom snore episode must have been necessary for setting up some things that will pay off later.

Or maybe I'm grasping at straws trying to rationalize the boredom because Im hesitant to criticize something I love.

Screw that!. Lets face it. That episode sucked major balls! Fire the dipshit nephew or son-in-law that was allowed to direct that dud please! Dear god. It was fricking terrible. It sucked on every front and felt like it regressed back to Season 1 terdville again. Cant even believe it..

Hopefully a couple clinched fists were raised though at that part when we're staring through a window....a rare window that isn't covered in the trademark BCS blind Lines.....and Saul steps into view ON THE OTHER SIDE looking IN.......and begins painting straight Yellow! Lines! on it. Ha ha!

That was awesome.

Also, it's looking like the Great Figurine Heist will expand back to the poor old lady that Saul already ripped off unconscionably once before when he helped here write her will. Or maybe that's just being used as a way to update where Saul's conscience is at. Because he seemed hesitant and torn when the Faygo Cola truck driver wanted more hummel action. Either way, fire last episodes director and crew!

For those that watch the show I keep seeing ads for Lodge 49? or some such. Any watchers of Saul watch the following show and can give a 411 on it?

That show is racist as shite. Thankfully, the poisonous and toxic environment of white males gathering together to drink beer and play cards together at goofy lodges has been stricken down and made socially just by giving this lodge a 50% white and 50% black membership which is split 50% male and 50% female. But, latinos, eskimos, hermaprhodites, and muslims are completely under-represented. Stay away from this Nazi propaganda starring Kurt Russel's son.

So it is a show about the Elks from the 1950's but updated to be politically correct?

Remember Jimmy playing the bouncy ball off the floor to the wall back to him, killing time at the cell phone store?

I'm watching S4 E2 of BB, and the morning after Jesse's house party, everyone is passed out on the floor except one person playing this game with himself over the passed out bodies on the floor.

There is one really quick shot of the guy's face, he's a nobody, no one of consequence, but he's the only guy awake.

ETA... now on BB S4 E3 and there are figurines galore.

Interesting that the flashforward into Breaking Bad was done at Episode 5 (the halfway-point of Season 4). This confirms it.....we're going forward in the timeline to Omaha to visit more with black and white Gene this season. Maybe in the finale. Or maybe the flashforwards will stay in the 4 minute episode intro spot. Not sure, but we're going there.

I thought the Mike scenes were pretty cool, but what exactly is the payoff? Oh wow, somebody had to make the underground meth lab and we get to watch the job interview process. Not exactly facemelting, imo.

And now they're back to teeter tottering between good Jimmy and Bad Saul going back and forth with his conscience. Jeeze man.....how much more of that can they do? Getting stale and old.

-also, not sure why they disrespected The Masters like that

Was heavy on the line imagery though

-liked how they showed the first underground architect candidate looking at his feet when he had the hood on....and the yellow line he was being lead on came into view.
-also, the close-up on the word "yellow" of Kim's cab at rat girls hovel....followed immediately by Kim standing next to vertical lines of Kim's trajectory. in the form of the hovel's window bars.

-Overall just another transition episode, that would have been underwhelming imo if not for the facemelter Breaking Bad Saul office scene

That's what I mean.

He scrolled to a ABQ gardening show, said "Nah" like it was a terd. Scrolled to the Masters, said "Nah" like it was a terd. Then settled on Dr. Zhivago which he's already seen several times.

Makes no sense. No man would do that.

Maybe they just want us to know it's the first full week in April.
