Disappointed in the bats late, but tickled after a great season and first CWS win in almost 20 years. Program is trending up. Now to focus on football.

One of the best seasons we've ever had in our history and one hell of a fun ride. Hard to be too upset about in general, although obviously would have liked to see it end differently.

Looked like Bobo was in charge of the offense in Omaha

Baseball Dawgs gave us a heckuva run this year. Enjoyed the heck out of it (sans Oklahoma).

Just wanted to drop by and offer congrat's on a great season for you Bulldog Baseball fans. Well done!
Nothing you can do when your bats go cold and you run into a red hot team.

definitely correct and the right perspective.
the way it went down blows just because it really felt like the natty was ours to lose. probably unfair to UNC who did everything they needed to do and may have been better suited for omaha than us anyway had we got to them.
positive is that we didnt lose to tech or any other rival in omaha which would have been just frankly devastating and a pain in the arse for years to come.

Newman, Wiltrakis, and Stephens all hitting the portal. Not a surprise - likely going to see a lot more portal movement this weekend and next week both in and out

I read online GA is hosting multiple SEC baseball transfers this week. Any big names you're hearing about?

Lot easier to accept after watching OU blow out UNC 2 out of 3.... wonder what they figured out all of a sudden or was it they had unscouted secret weapons on the mound ...

Freshman pitchers matured over the course of the season.

Joe Nottingham announces he is staying, Dylan Wood and Ty Peeples are leaving.
Been hosting a number of transfer prospects, a couple from South Carolina stand out. Wes says he will take 20+ transfers again this cycle.

Happy to share big updates. Lot going on in the background right now but important to remember baseball recruiting is not like football recruiting; landing guys from ACC/SEC schools is certainly a good thing simply from an experience standpoint but not a prerequisite for success. Wes just took a group of guys from Wofford, Dayton, Seattle U, UT-Arlington, New Mexico, USC-Upstate, and Ga State to Omaha. Only Kolby, Volchko, and Matt Scott were from Baylor and Stanford. Only Tre and Farley started here as freshmen. Wes knows how to build the right squad for Foley. Hoping that we may hear some announcements about uniforms/branding and future initiatives supporting the program in the coming months.

They got hot. They hit more home runs in their last 20 games than they did in their first 46 games.
It wouldn't have mattered if our bats didn't go ice cold in Omaha, but they did. This season had a 2023 Braves feeling to it.

Ty Peeples headed to FSU

And we got FSU’s Catcher, Hunter Carns. Hit .303 last season with 6 HR.
