Confused on why we wouldn’t be told to take a strike here after the second walk in and opening this inning. Kid was struggling with the yips and you get up there and swing at the first two obvious balls.

It’s a shame we couldn’t win the SEC for the 5th time this season

Great year, hate that it ended this way. Only thing left to do is watch Phelps and Jackson make the final two outs.

Seems like something is wrong with them, they have come out disinterested tonight.... No fire at all.

Really sad after the amazing season they put together to end it on a wimper.

Not trying to downplay their season but the 180 since we arrived in Omaha makes no sense. It’s either the moment is too big or the visuals in that park are affecting their swings. Maybe both?

Who knows?

Right now I feel for tylerdurden and the 3 or 4 others who kept this thread going all season and who were really into to it.

Georgia will break your heart sometimes.

Thanks for all your hard work, and also we'll be back!

By any measure it was a great season winning the SEC, the SEC tournament, and getting close to getting to the title game. All of us sitting at home would like to have had our team perform like Georgia did this year.

In life, if things don't end badly they tend not to end.... Good year just puzzling conclusion. Tip of the cap to OU, they wanted more and it shows.

Great season. Sad to see the bats go cold at the end, but overall a huge accomplishment from the boys and Wes. Looking forward to the future!

It wasn't just the bats going cold.
We knew we didn't have the pitching depth to go the distance.
Meanwhile, OU has 3 Freshman starters who will likely be even better next season.
Regardless, Goooooooo Dawgs!!

Pitching was fine. We only used 4 arms through theee games. If the offense shows up against okie in the first game we are sitting pretty with Joey ready to start game 1 of the finals.

The sudden increase of strikeouts and decrease of hard hit balls is what killed us. Seemed like they were in between pitches and pressing from the jump. Crazy to watch it happen in real time but that's baseball sometimes.

Great year and happy to see them back in Omaha.

Now that initial sting has subsided it was a helluva good time and historic run. There was a lot of pressure on this and the other top seeds going in so who knows what led to the slump in bats. OU seems to playing confident and care free ball so it will be interesting to see what happens in the finals.

Enjoyed it gentlemen!

Agreed but in reality stuff happens and we lost the last game 11 to 4 so that was not good pitching considering we won the previous game 2 to 0.
