Glad we still have a 1B in RF and a 3B at 1st. Hasnt affected the defense at all in Hoover.

It’s either that or put Spikes or Jernigan in LF and Chaney back at first and lose either Harber or King who is playing hurt. Spikes has been a black hole in the lineup and Jernigan hasn’t been spectacular this year
There’s no good answer; sacrifice defense for offense or vice versa
Plus, Harber has to learn to play 1B; he’s got to man one of the corners next year with Blaylock and Rogers gone

Was initially peeved Collins extended the game there, but upon second thought I prefer that to the straight run rule. It at least gave us something.

I stopped watching long ago....
The thing is, Harbor hasnt had a meaningful hit in the month of May from what I can recall. He's not a must have in the lineup. Chaney is a hell of a defensive first baseman. One of the best Ive seen at Georgia in a long time. Since Harbor isnt hitting, it seems that it would be best to try an outfielder in the outfield to see if there is possibly a spark and leave Chaney at 1st.
These are meaningful games. Harbor can learn to play first this summer and during the fall. We need to best 8 out there when we arent guaranteed a birth in the 64.
