Well, best coach on staff just got a 3 year extension in Sean Kenny
Meanwhile, Garrett Blaylock has entered the portal after graduating this past Spring. Hard to interpret if that’s trying to use his last year for better opportunity at going pro or if he wasn’t offered a spot to return to accommodate all the new guys. Also in the portal are Pitcher Brandon Smith and INT Caleb Ketchup

Jonathan Cannon undrafted
Dylan Ross-Top JUCO RHP commit, undrafted
Coleman Willis-Top 100ish prospect and commit, undrafted
I think Cannon will be back and Ross has a chance to be in the weekend rotation for a SEC team and make a lot of money after one year so I would expect him to make it to Athens this fall, and Willis could still be drafted in the 11th or 12th and given a good chunk of change to forgo the draft, but I think he makes it to UGA.
The rest of the recruiting class is pretty bad so no one else should be drafted.

So what I’m hearing is, once again, our pitching will carry the team and we will hope Collins and others can magically score enough runs to make the postseason

Our top hitting recruit is Luke Wagner's cousin. Also from Red Land, PA. He plays 1B. Im sure he will get a fair chance to play first with Harber at third.
We get another 1B prospect and two guys from Plant HS that werent even ranked on Perfect Game.
Perfect Game has our class 43rd right now. It will change after draft day, but we wont move up that much. We are getting lapped by the east.

Ill be happy once the draft is over. You never know what team could throw at him today depending on how much they saved in the first two days.

Yeah we got screwed on Wilcox in that regard with San Diego last year. Paid him first round money in the third

Conor will make more from NLIs this year than what a free agent contract pays since there is a cap on what you can give.
