Wish Jones, SVP, Lindbergh and more of the WRs were EE's. May be difficult for them to be big contributors before week 3.

That being said, this class fills literally every need but QB with recruits who grade at or near top in the nation, and the staff filled the need at QB with one of the best transfers in the nation.

Excellent job by the staff.

Everyone was coming after our OL commits when Pittman left.. incredible job by Matt Luke to hold on to all of them besides Braun. Feel very good about him being able to recruit at a high level.

I don’t have the recruiting chops to say this definitely, but considering the coaching changes and questions aimed at our offense, this feels like it may be Kirby’s best recruiting effort yet.

Braun might not have been a good fit for what we were looking to do going forward. He's a huge brawler which is what we were after before the switch on offense.

Recruitnig rankings of Super Bowl starters

Non Dawg related, but I found it interesting that there are more starters that were unranked coming out of high school than there were five star recruits. Says a lot about coaching and personal drive.

Sort of but you do know there's A LOT more
2 and 3 stars signed than 5 stars and the odds of a 5 star making it in the NFL are still much higher than 2 or 3 star but the
amount of G5 OL starters for both teams that are 2 stars or NR does stand out.

There are 32 5* every year in recruiting. There are roughly 220 guys drafted every year. There are 32 teams in the NFL, and each team employs roughly 65 players each year.

You are looking at a snapshot of two teams.

Leads me to my summary............No shite?

Yes but OL for both teams is still surprising.I believe I counted only 2 P5 guys out of the 10 starters.

The MAC does seem to produce an inordinate
amount of NFL OL.

The players play for moe than 1 year in the NFL tho. There could technically be 32 new 5 stars each year going into the league.

True, but even if all 32 five stars got drafted, there would still be around 200 non five stars getting drafted every year, with a lot more making a roster as undrafted free agents.

What’s so great about him? Legit question. I literally have no idea about the kid. WR? Fast and sure handed? Info brothas.
