whats the feeling on either Major Burns or Dontae Manning? I have seen both listed as possible last piece on Wed, especially if we lose Broderick and have space

My impression has been that Eric Reed is the safety we are going to take which basically rules out Burns.
Manning we have a good shot to add as a 3rd CB with Kimber and Ringo

I'm thinking the transfer portal is going to be key for UGA recruiting receivers in the near future more than any other position, and there's definitely opportunity in the Georgia WR corps. I know Justin Shorter & Tarik Black are already in.

Ttabsfers likely won’t be announced until week of Christmas at earliest. Final grades still have to come in from the semester. Just because a guy enters the portal doesn’t mean he’s actually recruitable; got to be eligible to transfer and potentially graduate from the next school

I haven't watched enough of Brice. What would we get out of him that we wouldn't be able to get from Bennett? Other than about half a foot and 50 lbs in size.
I know it probably won't happen, but if Jarren Williams ever enters the portal again I hope he's on our radar.

Game time experience and I’d think a better arm. Brice showed me he was a gamer in how he handled the Syracuse game. I’ve seen him very briefly but in mop up duty he’s looked good too. He just has always been on the roster with studs and that won’t end with DJ coming.
Bennett has more experience only in that he played JUCO but Brice has the FBS experience edge. Also, Bennett through 16 td to 14 int in JUCO. What little we have seen of Bennett I’m just not impressed at all. I’m fine with him as backup but if he starts I think it’ll be Joe T all over again and him changing to 13 doesn’t help. Him starting, IMO, would be a failure on the staff.
I think a lot of what our fans think about the mail man stems from our players saying he looked good as the scout team QB for the Rose Bowl and that’s about it.

Yeah, I was okay with the idea of Stetson being the backup going into this season, but if the coaches couldn't do anything with Fromm and his development, I have serious doubts they'd be able to do so with Mail Man.

Brice has about as good an arm as Fromm, and he's stronger and a bit more mobile. I don't know that he'll be a huge upgrade over Stetson, but I haven't seen much of him.
Williams seems like he has more upside, and he's about a step quicker than Chase. He's great over the middle, but I don't think he throws the best deep ball.
