Staff is doing work in a month. Imagine them with over a year to recruit....

Right now, we're pretty far behind one would think, but Pittman and this staff are clearly working their asses off and they're great recruiters. Ridley, Wilson, Davis, and Hudson are all guys that we would never have had a shot at. We might not land anyone listed outside of Ridley, but these guys are giving us a chance and the staff has only been in place for a few weeks. It should really pay dividends in '17 and '18.

I live in Birmingham now, and my next door neighbor is a huge booster at Bama. Told me that Schumann was arguably the best recruiter on the entire Bama staff and that their camp was maybe more upset to lose him than anyone. So I agree, 2017/2018 could be HUGEEEE.

Said Crawford won't get an offer unless Chubb needs another surgery...
So I hope we don't offer Crawford.

Why would we not offer Crawford now?

it said that McGee visited with him and that they will probably offer once they confirm Chubb's status for the Fall. Been a UGA fan since he was a kid so he'd love an offer.

I just don't understand this. The kid is legit, and recent history should tell our staff we need multiple backs capable of handling the load. Unless there is something about him we don't know, I don't see how Chubb's short term prognosis should have any bearing on whether we take Crawford or not.

He's a JUCO. It's all about the short-term.

Still don't see why it matters. Chubb could re-injure his knee in week one and we would be stuck holding our dicks. As a program, if you want to be a bruiser and pound the rock, you get the troops that will allow you to do so. One RB this class would be disappointing to me if someone like Crawford is ready to sign.

I don't want them to take anyone they don't think is good enough for the sake of being a one-year stopgap for next season. I like Crawford but am not privy to 1/100 of the information that the coaching staff is.

shite, McGee has probably known him personally for a long time.

Rusty Mansell's radio recruiting show "The Official Visit" starts at 7:00 tonight on 680 the fan. Derrick Brown and Mike Bobo will be on as well.

Show's still live.
Recap so far:

Derrick Brown
- family is very important
- talked about Coach Tucker and Coach Rocker visiting
- Last OV is Tennessee
- Where he goes is everyone's guess
- His visit is the most important for UGA (according to Rusty)

Rusty said Demetris Robertson is the hardest recruit to get a read on because he doesn't talk very much. Rusty thinks Notre Dame still.

UGA is trying to get bigger on the edge.

Rusty thinks we hold on to Wims

I'm anxious to see a NSD announcement schedule. There is just an unreal amount of prospects who will at least have a UGA hat on the table. Never seen anything like it. Really could go either way. Nobody has a firm stance on any important prospect.

The only thing I have seen at all thus far is that Hardman is supposed to announce early in the morning.

LSU just offered Lindsey Scott. Good to see a former Dawg's kid get a big offer.

Apparently Robertson might visit GT instead of UGA his last weekend. According to the Bama board
