Martin will get a pitch from Eason at the Army game so that may help UGA there.

AJCs Dawgnation had a good article up about Ben Cleveland and the best part of it was that he said he's working hard on Willie Allen and that we are in good standing with him.
Bring on all the 6'7" athletic Tackles!!! Lol

Nah the best statement he made was "I hope we put them on the curb and stomp them" in reference to the WLCOP.

Welllll yes overall, but I was talking about for recruiting purposes.

Alright well let's get back to stuff more interesting than another "fire mark richt" thread...
On Dawgnation, Big Ben Cleveland is saying we have "5 or 6 silent commits." Also said nothing in the world could change his mind about becoming a dawg. He's a lot closer to the situation than us, but I just don't see how that many commits could be kept quiet...just seems improbable to me, especially with our numbers being as they are. Anyone care to comment, or speculate on who these guys may be? Any surprises or under the radar guys?
I've got a couple names in mind, but I wouldn't say I know enough to speculate...all my names are based off of relationships with current commits and visits to Athens. I believe the number I heard we're looking to be at is 25, so with 15-16 already committed, do we anticipate any departures (Darion Anderson) before NSD?

I have no doubt people have told him that. I doubt they all come.

Does an offer to JUCO WR Javon Wims indicate that we don’t feel good about our remaining targets? We have 4 WR’s on the board, Davis, Nixon, Holloway and Simmons. Seems like an odd offer at this point in the recruiting cycle.

Interesting indeed.

Or simply that we want to have some older, more experienced guys for next year....

Given our miss rate on WRs not named Green, Conley, Godwin or Mitchell, I'm all for as many receivers as we can afford. Give Eason as many weapons as possible.

DawgNation reported yesterday that we totally backed off 2017 RB Trey Sermon.
Inexplicable.
Inexplicable.

Sermon has a fracture in his back or something like that
Posted on 11/5/15 at 8:56 am to Crowknowsbest
That would be explicable

Holyfield is hurt. Murray broke his leg during his senior year. Seems weird to pass on the #1 kid in the state almost a year and a half away from his NSD.

Back injuries are a bigger deal than leg injuries. He's also not the #1 player in the state

I'm gonna trust Brown and McClendon when it comes to recruiting running backs.
