FWIW, I just noticed that Shannon Terry (CEO of 247) has the Dawgs as his Crystal Ball pick for Lorenzo Carter.
EDIT: That was back on Sept. 9th. Still 65-35 Bama-UGA split.

Rumor on the Tennessee side is that he's going to sign financial aid agreements with UT, UGA, and FSU to allow coaches unlimited communication during the decision-making process. Apparently FSU coaches leaked this plan and UT is pissed.

After Hand picked Bama today, there's no chance Carter ends up anywhere besides Athens.

I feel like I read this book last year with the RB situation. When Henry flipped to Bama, EVERYONE said AK was a lock to UGA. Seeing as I was disappointed, I’m going to wait this one out.

Carter was trending with UGA before Hand's announcement. It's not over by any means, but I think UGA is currently the front runner for Carter at the moment.

Why are we having trouble reeling in a WR prospect here at UGA? I cannot think of another program who has had such amazing stability at the QB position as UGA for the past 10 years. We consistently put QB's and receivers in the league, not to mention Tenn is a dumpster fire shitbox. Why are we struggling with closing on this Malone kid? Seriously?

I agree & the moment I realized it was when he chose that UGA game over Bama/LSU game but remember I also had no idea (as well as most of the pundits/recruiting experts etc.) that Bama would land Hand, hell he was like 89% CBed to Mich when he picked Bama. Tim Watts picked Bama day before sating he was going out on a limb & with his gut . Mich 247 & Ann Arbor news site both POSTED articles online already written about him commiting to Mich. That's how much of a shock it was to everyone .
& I stand by what I posted that Hand commiting to Bama and being a part of this class changes everything in Carter's recruitment IMO, and it was already trending toward UGA. The only ONLY way I see him ending up @ Bama now is if Rashaan Evans commits early like next month or so to AU or UGA & shuts everything down & Bama kicks it back into full gear for Zo and even then may be too little too late.
