olddawg26 If we grab carter would that put us at 1?
Definitely. Especially if we finish out with who we think we would as well. If that's how it ends, best class Richt has ever had.

Well we thought we had that last year

If I remember correctly if you used ever players best ranking by 1 of the 4 services we woulda had 25- 4 stars....
If you used ever players worst ranking by 1 of the 4 services we woulda had 13- 4 stars...

We jumped to #2 because #'s 2-5 were all separated by less than 1 point. Fenteg gave us about 5 points.

Also, has anyone informed the recruiting board of where we know stand in the rankings?

I think UGA gets Shaw, Carter seems much closer right now but I also think it will be similar to a Jordan Jenkins situation where it is just too tough for him to leave the state, either school pitches him his perfect position and fit so all thing equal why would a kid leave the state? I guess it all comes down to how comfortable he is with each staff and I think UGA has an advantage being the state school

Your rational, non-biased approach is seriously freaking me out

Prolly gonna come down to how UGA plays this year. He's a smart kid, if the Dawgs look good this fall & make it back to Atl. this year we'll have a great chance at Carter, if not he'll prolly be Bama bound...

I don't think so only because both teams have the same base defensive scheme, I think Carter knows he will have success at either school but the in-state pull will be too much

Carter is going to Florida unless something really bad happens to Florida, and UGA wins natty.
He is not going to Alabama, he has zero interest in Alabama.
One of my coworkers, a dawg fan, not a gator fan, is a good friend of his family. And that's what he was told this week. And his family calls him Leo, apparently.

Verbatim what I was thinking. And I'd bet it still comes down to Bama and UGA at end of the day.

Fwiw, I think he is a Gator lean right now based on how much he enjoyed his trip and what other recruits have said. Although, some recruits have mentioned they think he will end up at UGA. Either way, it's August and LC is taking his recruitment down to NSD and it's going to be a fun ride for everyone involved.

UF is just trending now before the season starts with him, Boom is promising him the world
Don't forget how far away Gainesville is
Again JUST like JJ, and both Bama and UGA will be there in the end UF doesn't have staying power with LC

Pretty sure there's been 2-3 so far this year & several last year who were pressured into committing to UF early who've decommitted...
Seems Champ pressures a lotta these kids & when they get home & think it over they open it back up...
