I'll be watching the game where, I hope, an assault takes place against the sips.

Boy, I'd like to see this game. It was loud to VERY loud at times against Sam.Houston.

Ole Miss should be EXCEPTIONALLY loud, and I'd like to see/hear that.

I think we match up favorably here.

Its crazy that Baylor-TCU is a mutual top 10 Big 12 match. If you would have told me that a decade ago.......

Baylor and TCU have played 110 times. This is the first time they will play with both teams ranked at all, much less top 10.

ETA: somewhat interesting note, in 2.5 years in the SEC, we've already played all the SECW teams but Arky and our 2 different cross-div rivals in mutually ranked games. And Arkansas we played mutually ranked in 2011.

Well, so did the last version until someone made a cut near a seam.

My understanding of this turf is that if the seams are a problem again, the players will just go ahead and break their legs completely off because of the depth. So its all good. Or something.

I don't think the other one looked that good. Looked like it had stripes of different colored grass.

That does look better, but I am nervous.

The Rant really missed the boat on this, nothing makes me melt faster than Turfgate.

I can't believe we got it wrong the first time. And the solution really feels like someone called us after watching the game on TV which is even more embarrassing.

I hope this turf lives up to the pricetag.

Take this with a grain of salt, but read from a news outlet that the field is a "9.5 out of 10" and the team practiced on it Thursday.

I'm sure the conditions are good right now, but with rain in the forecast, it will be interesting to see how it holds up.

Not sure if any of you are current A&M students or still in the B/CS area but what's with all the fighter jets today? I've been hearing them since I got home at about 1. I saw one land at Easterwood so I assume that's where they're all headed. Is there a planned fly over tomorrow or has ISIS shown up with a missile full of Ebola?
