Costello has 7 turnovers? in two games now
No amount of yards passing can make up for that. The problem with Leach has always been that his teams HAVE to throw the ball to generate offense, and when you throw 60 times a game you increase your odds of turnovers as INTs and fumbles from QBs combined are far more common than fumbles in the run game.
Every year as a coach he loses 2-3 games simply because his scheme leads to a rash of turnovers. Even his 2008 Tech team, easily his best ever, got clocked by OU and Ole Miss because they turned it over a combined 8 times.
Your chances of escaping a schedule unscathed with that style are almost nonexistent.

They have a real mess over there. It’s not his players on offense yet and I get that. But... he won’t field a defense like that again as HE gets his OWN guys on defense.
