Generally, all the big school kids that get rated super early before their JR year get 5* to generate buzz. They all get “downgraded” as kids who hadn’t been rated fill out the rankings and the distribution adjusts after they have a full season of JR tape. So a 5* before JR year will typically end up a top 100-150 player national which is more like mid 4* star.
