Which has always left me scratching my head a bit. How is a guy who has never played a down of ball in America, the #1 rated JUCO OL?
If the staff wants him, I want him, but I assume he's very raw, so it's not like we're getting a seasoned transfer who's going to step right in.

A JUCO with 4 years of eligibility left isnt the norm so you take that into account plus potential with his size and athelticsm.

If there isn't someone really good in the portal, I'd rather not blue shirt Crownover and have the spot for 2022. If we win 10+ games in 2021, we will have another elite class coming. But I'm ok with whatever Jimbo thinks.

I hope you're right. It just seemed odd that a guy from Brisbane, Australia who went to Snow College but didn't play (thanks to covid), would garner the #1 ranking ... and subsequent buzz among our fans.
I haven't seen tape and haven't read much other than he used to play rugby. I was hoping for a transfer we could plug in as a 1-2 year starter or experienced depth, but I'll gladly take an All-American down the road, so here's to "developing a little."
