I knew Morris signed with OU, but I hadn't heard any recent news in Johnson. I just assumed he signed with someone else on Wednesday. Glad to hear that's not the case.
It’s interesting how OU, despite great success in the last several years, multiple heisman’s multiple playoff appearances, has not had significant impact on our upward trend in recruiting.

The difference is the combination of a title-winning coach and the ability to play in the SEC

TexAgs seems fairly confident that we'll get him.

I hoe we get this guy but TexAgs is fairly confident about lots of things they get wrong.

This is huge. I didn't see a sure fire starter at OT this year outside of Kenyon Green. And even he will be acclimating to the new position. Jahmir Johnson gives us a guy who can immediately come in and man one of the OT spots opposite of Green while we redshirt and develop the 2021 class.
Only caveat to that is I think Bryce Foster works his way into the starting lineup by conference play, if not sooner.

That's not true, but whatever makes you feel good...
As for Johnson, he might help us a lot. At the very least, he'll provide very much needed experience and depth.

I think he’s a likely starter. Who else is going to be opposite of Green.

I think so, too. But likely, of course, just means likely. I wouldn't be shocked if someone else stepped up and took the job.

Well your other options that aren’t true freshman are Blake Trainor, Chris Morris, and Jordan Moko.
