We have two weeks to keep improving, then our season will be written.

Finish 0-3, we go 6-6 into a crappy bowl and our recruiting suffers.
Finish 1-2, we go 7-5, and feel okay about things, but not great.
Finish 2-1, we finish 8-4 and with lots of momentum.
Finish 3-0, we finish (probably) 2nd in the West, get a strong bowl, and go into next year in the top 10.

0-3 is a distinct possibility. 3-0 is possible, bur pretty damn unlikely. 2-1 is more possible than people think, if we can keep improving. 1-2 is the most likely finish.

Did you see South Carolina at Tennessee?

I think we may just beat all but LSU right now. But we will see. SC wants that one bad

2-1/3-0 or GTFO

Only beating USCe would be massively disappointing. If that were to happen it would mean we wouldn't have a single win against an FBS team with a winning record this season.

It would also mean our loses would be Clemson, Bama, Auburn, UGA, and LSU.

That's 5 pretty good teams, and we're just not quite ready.

Depends on which team shows up.

I get the whole "Fisher...75 mil! Results immediate!!" sentiment, bit these players sometimes just shite the bed. Mond and our WR crew especially.

Dunno what Fisher can do to prevent that. Frustrating.

Losing to the only good teams we play is not something to feel good about. It's not a success. It's not a sign of improvement. It's not what Jimbo is being paid $75 million to do.

Only beating teams with losing records and losing to teams with winning records is a failure of a season. It didn't cut it for Sumlin, Sherman, or Fran. It shouldn't cut it for Jimbo either.

Yes, but Sumlin started losing to .500 or worse teams as well.

2016 Mississippi State and Ole Miss
2017 UCLA

Fran was blown out at home by 2005 Iowa State and Sherman lost to Arkansas State in his opening game and 3 win Colorado in 2009.

Fisher has yet to lose to a team that had fewer than 8 wins.

Could be worse...we could have had the coach you wanted (Morris)

So what? That doesn't mean it's ok for Jimbo to skate by.

I'm sorry that some of you don't like hearing it but if we don't finish out 3-1 the season is a failure. You would have all said the same if it were Sumlin, Sherman, or Fran so I don't see why Jimbo should be off the hook.

IDGAF what Chad is doing with the dumpster fire in Pig land. If Chad was here and had the same results as Jimbo in year two I'd say it wasn't acceptable as well.

I think it's a lot less about our W-L and more about how we have look when it comes to judging this season. Everyone knew it was a transition year towards 2020, but a lot of the players and coaches we need to do big things next year have not taken the next step or looked that good so far.

The production from Wydermyer, Anias and Spiller is encouraging but most of the returning players appear stuck at or below last year's level of production.

I misread it as the last 3 regular season and bowl game. I agree that we need to win at Georgia or LSU to fully redeem this season but I think W/L is a little irrelevant for 2019

Sumlin or Sherman or Fran in what year, in what league?

I'm sorry, but ignoring that 7-5 might mean we lost to 5 top 10 teams is fricking dumb.

SC should be a win. We beat Tennessee's previous win by 19 points.

We won't have played 5 teams that end in the top 10 so it matters not. Also it's the SEC. You don't get credit for losing to a hard schedule.

You don't know that. If UGA and Auburn and LSU and Bama all win out (except when they play one another), then it's possible all 4 could finish the year top 10. Clemson is a shoe-in for top 10. (The most unlikely team to finish top 10 would be the loser of the Auburn/UGA game, but if Auburn wins that game, and UGA finishes the year with only 2 losses, then all 5 could possibly finish top 10.)

Recruiting says otherwise.
