How many came here (or, more specifically, to SECRant) because they got tired of the circle-jerk that is TexAgs, and/or were permabanned?

I stopped going to Texags about 7 years ago. It was awful. Unlike most people that bitch about it, go to it, and then come here to complain about it... I dropped it altogether. Don’t think I have been there 3 times since. Waste of time.
A few really good posters on our board are in the know so there is no better info anywhere else. I don’t always weigh in on this board but read Just about everything.

I heard about TD first and went over to TexAgs a few times. Not a fan of how their forums are set up.

Have not even looked at that site in probably 3-4 years. I think I was banned even before that.
The hard truth I’ve accepted is I just don’t have the time anymore to sit around with my thumb in my arse reading, arguing and/or trying to think of clever things to say about Aggie football/sports. Plus I’m dead inside to I have no clever thoughts anymore. I have not looked at this site a lot since last season to be honest, but once season rolls around I choose to lurk this site for my entertainment because in all honesty TexAgs is boring as frick (for all of the mentioned reasons). I want to be informed about our team but also entertained. TexAgs doesn’t really accomplish either. They gather information but it’s factual assumptions are flawed in that they are based on subjective “facts” established through sucking the collective dicks of the site owners.
And there is very little insight to be had when you have thousands of bumbling idiots age 18-22 trying to act like they know the first fricking thing about anything, but importantly about actual pain. I found the place totally unrelatable 5 years ago, so I would hate to see how shitty it is now with the gen z/PC generation or whatever they are. Bitch please - come see me when you have another 2005 season. Or the 2011 season FFS. Until you, gen z Aggie, have a total collapse and fire the coach you stole from Bama, or have to fire the most successful/Big 12 championship coach in your history because he clearly could not win anymore, sit the frick down scooter.
This place does not give me news with remotely any form of favorable spin. A couple of our posters are so quick to jump ship they think we should have hired leach over jimbo FFS. And then scoot over to the Rant and you will really see how shitty people think we are. I’d rather manage expectations realistically than pay for months of unjustified hype AND have a metaphorical dick in my mouth (I know...crazy since we love that normally).

Texags has always been a sunshine pumping spin zone, but it used to be worth it for the recruiting info. Now that 247 has clearly surpassed them on the recruiting front, there’s not much else it offers anymore. They have a lot of high quality content but it’s all tainted by Liucci’s maroon spin.

Came here originally for different reasons, but the bullshite bans over on the other site made TigerDropings a more regular habit. The local board is my main remaining draw to the other site.

I’ve actually started listening to the podcast shows. Like Gabe and Olin well enough, but when Looch comes on I almost always skip over it. His lack of professionalism (even on a podcast) and his “I know more than you” schtick is just so tiresome.

He’s always been so demeaning to Gabe on air. It was kinda funny back when Gabe was a 25 year old new guy back in the mid-2000s, but now that’s he’s basically the third most powerful person in that company and they are both in their 40s it just comes off as wildly unprofessional and condescending.
Gabe is a goober, but in that dorky dad way where you know he’s a good dude and he works hard. Meanwhile Liucci is 47 years old, lived with his mom until he was almost 40, has never been married or had kids and wakes up at 11 every day and does the radio show in sweats. He’s a nearly 50 year old college bro.

The echo-chamber eventually got old. There's being optimistic, and then there's being Aggy. That site does not take criticism well at all.
I lost interest on the site after the 2011 season. Once we were in the SEC, this site became "home".

Was never a Texags subscriber. I’ll occasionally glance at the forums, but it’s just a bunch of dorks that are annoying tbh.
I was searching for fan reactions to Johnny manziel destroying their teams, and found this place with all fanbases represented, and it had the easiest UI to navigate. At the time I found the rant to be quite a bit of fun, but haven’t really even looked at it in a couple years now. Just got boring. Mainly spend time on soccer, movies/tv, music & ot.

I got my first ban hammer on my first post of my first account. I then made a second account and it served me well. Then I caught a ban for a photo I posted that I took. That photo was used by a bunch of other people who did not receive such treatment. This is when I realized that A&M was full of weak arse, shrimp dick, pop tarts. So I took the gloves off and made 2-3 accounts for every account they banned. These frickers didn’t even know what happened. I had people so mad they were claiming to dox me. Those Cheeto eating fricks didn’t even know how to check their own IP. Texags moderators we’re too busy slurping up Luicci jizz to keep up. I then saw something that I knew I would be able to go deep dick on. I then posted a photo of pubes drooling on this chick while feeling her up on north gate. Her friends rescued her from #1 pussy arse bitch of CStat. He got real spicy about that pic, he claimed to pc block me. This only fueled my inner troll. At my height of trolling I had 20+ account active at one time. I had to take notes just to keep shite straight. I wouldn’t cross boards very often. People were accusing other people of being me. The zoo hated me, the tickets board moaned at my post, the general board were a bunch of Pepsi drinking twats. This became such a fun past time making all these pussy arse bitches cry. I filled up my jars with texag tears. It was a great time hearing people bitch about my alts at tailgates. I just sat back and laughed. It all came to a close when I made a rebuttal post to another one of my accounts. This is when I realized that I was getting addicted in tear farming Tex Ags. That’s when I started shutting down my excessive amount of socks. Then I found this board and it’s not filled with a bunch of pussies and actually talk about sports. So I’ve been content here. Well good night gents this bubblehead is logging off.
