That won't happen. If FSU does that, they would have to pay Fisher a buyout.

They will cut a deal on our buyout for him and he will be on his way. They had two commits open up their recruitment tonight and I doubt Fisher really wants to coach that game at this point

Unless they already have their next coach 100% committed, I doubt they do this. And even if they do, I doubt FSU helps us by reducing the buyout. Programs are larger than recruits. They'll probably wait and make Jimbo show his face to the fans and players.

But if the rumors are true and FSU already has Taggart ready to sign, then that means Daddy A&M is making two major programs (FSU and Oregon) wait on us .

It seems hard for me to believe that Jimbo is waiting for the BOR to officially vote on the contract. That's just a formality.

But then again, today the Tennessee AD apparently agreed to a contract with Jeff Brohm...which was then rejected by the Tennessee administration.

So maybe Jimbo wants to be 100% sure, instead of 99.99% sure, that Woodward delivers on his end of the deal.

I'm dying to see how long his coat tails are with recruits. Wonder if he brings any kids from FL OT flips in state kids.

I promise you Fisher and sexton already have a guarantee in writing in one way or another from our A.D.

If Jimbo and FSU part ways before Saturday it will be called a mutual separation, and that will be the end of it

It won't be mutual. FSU would want their buyout. They'd be stupid not to.

Isn’t their buyout just assistant coach contracts?

Yes, so they are getting that money from us regardless.
