I don't ever remember us being this good in basketball. It came at a good time.

I saw Acie law go ham on the whole conference. My experience was pretty different I would say.

I basically rioted when he drained the winning shot against top ranked Texas. We all did.

I saw Joe Wilbert dunk the ball once. I believe it was A&M's first dunk in 3 years in live action. No shite.

Some of the Gillespie players and recruits are among my favorite A&M athletes I watched while at school

Acie Law, Derrick Roland, Donald Sloan, Dominique Kirk, Joe Jones, Bryan Davis. Just tough as shite players who never stopped battling

What about Pompey or whatever his name was. That scrappy power forward

Marlon Pompey reminds me a lot of Tavario Miller. Agressive to the point of out of control. At least Pompey was a good defender. Both have zero touch on offense and foul a lot in limited minutes.

Anyone remember how pathetic his dunk contest was?

Yes.

Billy Clyde would just send him out there to rough people up and get fouls and then call it a successful day

If you will recall Pompey managed to foul out in the FIRST HALF vs Texas one time. Then later in the season he showed his versatility by scoring 18 against Tech.

If only he had been in the game on Memphis' final possession. I don't think they get all those offensive rebounds.

I will always remember Joe Jones for tGOAT pick against Baylor in 2008. Tweety Carter's are still ringing. Same game as "the baptism".

The next year in Waco was when Scott Drew came onto our locker room after the game and personally apologized to Donald Sloan after the bear pit hurled racial insults at him during the game.

Joe Jones is my favorite Aggie BB player of all time. That guy was like a Cat D11.

I will always worship BCG, even if he is a worthless alcoholic wreck now. He's the greatest.

This is the third season I've done this. The last two seasons turned out almost exactly as I predicted.

I used the data we already had from previous years' trends for this year's and it was a valid assumption: Had the Aggies played like the 2014-2015 team against our current schedule, it would have followed suit.

This is clearly NOT the case and I'm pleased to see that.
