I was just looking at the Clemson schedule (mostly because of the article showing up on this website about Dabo defending his schedule to reporters)

what a pathetic schedule they have this year

I really cannot believe that GA Tech agreed to play Clemson in that 1st game (takes away from the advantage their gimmicky offense gives them)

I will say this; Clemson playing Tech in the 1st game is a real blessing for y'all. They will be spending time prepping for the triple option to start the year & the chop blocks Tech employs may make the Taters a little more banged up than usual after a 1st game

looking at their schedule, I'm thinking that aTm is the only team that has a realistic chance to beat Clemson in the regular season, so gig 'em please!

my guess on your season is 8-4, losses to us (UGA for those on phone that are not familiar with me), Bama, Clemson and one of LSU, USCe or State

possible 7-5 and lose 2 of those

I think we lose 3 to 4 vs Clemson, Georgia, Bama, & Lsu. I think we lose, at most, 1 other vs Auburn, State, etc.

Most likely 8-4. 7-5 and 9-3 possible. If it’s 6-6 then things have gone very very wrong. If it’s 10-2 then we should be a top 5 team.

GT has a new coach. They aren't going to run the triple option.

Yes the now have Geoff Collins (former DC throughout the southeast) as HC. They'll be running a variation of the shotgun spread offense like pretty much everyone else

yeah, I'm an idiot, but I doubt they abandon it completely

I think the new coach said he was completely abandoning it.

If you ask me, that's not a wise move. Their players looked very small during the spring game. They're going to have a pretty miserable year unless they beef up between now and summer camp.

They aren't going to be running option anymore now that Geoff Collins is their HC.

This is what his offense looked like at Temple with Dave Patenaude at OC who he brought along with to GT.

I believe GT and Clemson agreed to the switch was to launch the new ACC Network.

agree, him saying that means as much to me as Saban acting like he doesn't know who his QB will be and holding closed practices

I think Mond is the X factor

Could he show up and ball all season like he finished vs LSU? Could he?

There is Kellen Mond, and then there is moon moon mond.

You never know which one shows up for each play.

Agree 100%, our success this season will largely depend on his development and maturity. Guess we will see if Jimbo really is a “QB whisperer” or not.

We have 4 likely losses on the schedule: Bama, Clemson, UGA, and LSU. If we go 1-3 or 2-2 on those I'll be very happy.

We will probably drop another game through the SEC schedule as well, since it's the SECw and no game is easy.

If he can, we're gonna be something else.

The key for A&M in the Clemson game is the new front 7 vs. Clemson's offensive line.

Last year, their offense was bailed out by our absolutely putrid secondary. Our front seven dominated the Clemson offensive line, causing havoc against Trevor Lawrence and disrupting Kelly Bryant.

They are replacing 4 starters on their offensive line while we are replacing 6 out of our starting front 7. They return all of their skill players.
