Look, if this kid is so impatient that he HAS to make his commitment before seeing what we do then he sounds like he is a potential locker room problem. He doesn't have to commit right now. It's not like tomorrow is NSD. If he can't deal with the fact that Sumlin won't tell him who we are looking at he has a coddling issue that we don't need to deal with.

I can't stop laughing at all of y'all harping on this "he could have waited" line ever since chin pubes put that out in his little melt last night. Never heard that once until 1030 last night and now I've seen it 50 times. fricking incredible.

I'm not saying I don't want Mack because obviously he's a great talent and I'm not going the sour grapes route but...

We've all been tired of us his BS this year. Constantly saying that he was going to leave, attention whoring on twitter, needing constant arse kissing to keep him committed this long. Then one recruit he wants to play with doesn't come here and he immediately bolts and adds on he's "not considering A&M" anymore? He's a straight up bitch follower.

I hope they all leave. Don't leave any doubt that this shite is falling apart so we can get on to the new hire and rebuild as quickly as possible

Ok. Done pumping sunshine. Mack leaving, even if Kyler stays, puts a lot of defensive commits and targets in doubt. If MJ wasn't a "leader" in recruiting, DM clearly was. Melt mode: COMMENCE.

I almost hope he does. He is a great kid, great recruit and he deserves better than what Sumlin's program is.

Don't want him at Texas especially from those reports earlier in the season when he had no interest supposedly.

Mack left because Sumlin wouldn't tell him who the dc is? Sorry I just don't get that reasoning. Whatever, I'm about to just stay off boards until this is over. Not justifying anything but times like these I remember my freshman year with Fran choking away home games like the tech last minute td and realize it can always be worse.

It is starting to feel Fran-like: ie we give this huge contract after a Cotton Bowl and it ends up being the noose we hang ourselves by.

Oh well, 2012 was fun guys. We will always have that year.

I dont know what the hell Looch put out b/c I dont read TexAgs anymore.

IDGAF what he said either. Kid could have waited pure and simple.

Do I want a guy with that kind of talent? Sure. But if he is already acting like a prima donna with a "tell me who the DC is or else" ultimatum its very likely we dodged a major locker room cancer. What else will he be baby about if he is already acting like this before he even officially signs anywhere?

This isnt anywhere close to being the end of the world the way some of you are acting. Y'all need to grow some sack and stop acting like pecking hens at a damn hair salon.

Hamm is absolutely tearing Sumlin a new one on Twitter. I think this finally gave him the excuse to trash the guy who took his credentials away.

It's not even that bad. Offense is better than even Sherman even when we are misfiring. We have upgraded talent all across the board, but obviously still need better defensive playmakers. I know losing out on two five stars hurts, but coaching can make 3 and 4 stars turn into a top 25 defense and we can compete for the west.

Maybe he couldn't. Maybe his family told him he had to stick to his word. In fact I would bet they did after the Wednesday night phone call.

That call is going to turn into our version of the call to report the break-in at the Watergate Hotel.

Which would be ok if we were in the Big 12 still. We could be content 8 wins seasons were a lock.

Instead we are in the SEC West, the hardest division in football. A slip like this could lock us to the bottom Arky-style for years.

Once again, not having an actual coordinator in place didn't frick this up, Kevins responses to questions asked about the search did
