Remaining Targets/Offers:
Ricky Seals-Jones Sealy, TX. Top 3: Texas, LSU, A&M.
Justin Manning Dallas, TX. Top 3: OU, TCU, A&M.
Mike Mitchell Plano, TX. Top 3: tOSU, FSU, A&M
Caleb Benenoch Katy, TX Top Schools: Texas, Stanford, Baylor, A&M

Sadly I think we have a good shot going 0-4 on these ... RSJ may be out best bet; Manning has seemed like a OU lock for a while; Mitchell doesn't appear to want to stay in state; money on CB is Stanford as of his last update, though Texas is just as likely I think.

Aggie fans--this is probably too pre-mature, but will a scholarship be offered soon for the Class of 2016 to QB Tobyn Tannehill of Big Spring? He is of course the youngest brother of Ryan T. Starting his first varsity game as a sophomore, Tobyn led the Steers (winless last season) to a 49-0 thumping of Fort Stockton, going 11-16 for 231 yards and four touchdowns.

Only negative is his high school coaching staff is mediocre at the absolute best, but there is no doubt he has outstanding potential--definitely someone to keep an eye on!

I had no idea Ryan had a younger brother. If he's even close to the athlete that Ryan is I hope we offer him for something. The current staff never coached Ryan Tannehill though, not sure if that will matter

Ryan will tell you himself that his little brother will be better than he.

I live in Big Spring & thought Tobyn was the best QB on campus as a freshman last season & thought he should have been promoted to the varsity at least for the last game or two, but I have also heard that others think he could be better eventually than Ryan. Just depends on how he responds to the pressure--just wish his high school coaching staff was better.

Ricky Seals-Jones, Justin Manning, Mike Mitchell and Torrodney Prevot are all planning on being at the Florida game this weekend. Obviously some big name players.

Many others will be there as well.

I thought Prevot was 100% USC.

pretty sure RSJ, Mitchell, and Manning aren't attending. Little bit of a letdown but not sure we have a great chance with any of them anyway. Lot of 2014 kids though

not surprising but for some reason a lot of folks think we have a real good shot at him. What's the word on your side of the Sabine?

Their fans are now saying RSJ has his hand out but interestingly that is exactly what they said when he decommitted. Yet while they continued to recruit him for months, they forgot that meme, and now that they are no longer recruiting him, suddenly it's back. Everyone has their yahoos but at most places such rumor mongering is shouted down. Pretty typical of their fanbase really.

My guess is based on his twitter comments last week that he cooled on them. I doubt it's injury related given it sounds like the injury won't have long term implications.
