Did you see the punt?

No I missed it. But if it hits out of bounds then the ball is out where it crosses the line. And that can be well down the sidelines depending on what side of the field the punt came from etc.

If it hit at the 42 in bounds and then went out of bounds, then it's a bad spot. But if it went out of bounds then it should be be 10+ yards down the field most likely.

The ref doesn't need to see where it crossed the line. If he sees where it landed, he can draw a straight line from where it was punted to find the trajectory

Right, but you shouldn't be expecting to see it spotted at the 42.

I know what you’re imagining & this wasn’t that. The ball went out just about where it landed & they spotted it 25 yards away.

Any football that's worth a damn is rigged, but we still watch it.

Everybody knows this....

But if that ball actually went out of bounds at the Arkansas 35 yard line...

It would have landed in the stands.

I get that it could be spotted too far. But it should be spotted well short of the 42 also.

No shite. Everyone understands that.

10 yards yea, completely understandable. But the ball landed 1 yard out of bounds at the Texas 41 and the ref ran all the way up to the Arkansas 35 to spot the ball. IMPOSSIBLE to explain that logically.

The Refs are either Crooked or totally incompetent is the only explanation for that.

Watch the punt. At best it went out at the Texas 45 and hit at the 42. Tell me how it went out of bounds at the Arkansas 35 and landed 25 yards down the field about 2 feet from the sideline.

Ok, it just seemed like people were expecting it to be spotted at the 42.

Yes, 3 points will certainly be the difference in this game.

Did the refs also help our kicker make the long FG?

If you noticed, there was nobody on the Arky sideline who raised hell about that spot. Why you may ask? Because they are actually there and not ABC's horrible B-team camera crew.

The SEC refs have always been good boys that do what they’re told. There’s just a wider net now. The Bham office probably has nostalgia for simpler times when they only had to “give a little helpins” 1 or 2 games a week.

There is a reason the SEC is vehemently opposed to adopting the ACC’s televised review policy.
It is an absolutely rigged league. To keep eyeball and money for Disney.
3 loss mediocre Texas is in conversation for eyeballs and money.
Disney has a monopoly.
Also the QB being a direct relative to two Disney employees doesn’t hurt.
It’s all theater. ALL of it.

Come on man. You know what’s going on. We paid the refs off to make us the most penalized team in the sec so we could get that favorable spot in the arky game without drawing too much attention. It was all part of the bomc
