If they finish 11-1, he’s going to take the money and run.
A&M will kick Elko to the curb and increase their ex-coaching debts to 200M and bring in Stein.

You need to worry about how Sark pissed away a Manning.

I think it depends on how much interest he has in the NFL. If he's looking to pad his resume to make thar leap he can do it right there in Lexington. If he sees himself as a longtime college guy then yeah, KY will have to unass some long dollars.

We're not remotely worried about that. So, have fun.

I doubt Stein wants to go to coaching graveyard Texas A&M just to get fired in 3 years

An Aggie that believes someone is not responsible for their own outcomes.
Let me guess, you voted for Talarico and Gina didn’t you?

I think he will stay at Kentucky. He's home and apparently happy there. More money does not equal more happiness.

That graveyard pays very well, even years after you don't have to be there anymore.

Dude is 37 and the contract he would get would set him and his family for life no matter how he performed. Never say never.

Wait a cotton pickin' minute. We were all told Manning sucked back in high school and wasn't any kind of QB and certainly not SEC ready. Now you say he was a great prospect and has been wasted?
Hekk, Sark has turned him into a high round draft pick, you buffoon.

In Sark's defense, he is the Temu Manning.

I think everyone is aware of that at some level but do you think that makes it any easier to turn down many, many millions of dollars? I'm guessing it does not.

Sark = 2 Final Fours just before Manning took over. Who is the issue?

There's a certain threshold where you're getting paid insane money and even more insane money doesn't really fricking matter, personal happiness outweighs it. That obviously favors Kentucky by a wide margin.
What will make or break whether Stein leaves if he continues to be wildly successful, other than NFL aspirations, is whether the support is there for staff salary and $ for recruiting.
THAT is where the big money schools like the Horns and Aggies have an advantage.
We were paying Stoops a Top 10 in the nation salary. Y'all seem to repeatedly forget that fact. He wasn't woefully underpaid. He was extremely well compensated. So folks thinking offering Stein more annual salary is something we can't or won't match simply haven't paid attention and don't know what the frick they are talking about, plain and simple.

There's a Mr. Strong on line one and Mr. Herman on line two.
I'll tell them to hold.

You don't think Kentucky would give him a salary that would provide generational wealth? Come on man.
