I think this i very true. Perhaps you won't want to watch some of the games, but you will be excited for your team. The side benefit is that this will likely kill off many of the lesser bowl games that almost nobody cares about. The extra side benefit will be that for the post season games that the 24 teams in the playoff will participate, there won't likely be player opt-outs that have made bowl games less exciting for your teams fans.

Let it not be lost that LSU isn't the only school in the market for talent. In some ways the bidding battle has replaced the recruiting battle.

We also have to realize that the staff spent who knows how long preparing for that game. Now game prep is week to week and our opponents have seen what we do.

Here is an honest question: If a large number of teams are paying good money for their players the same way as LSU, why is there a special expectation that our money will guarantee a great team over the others spending similar money? Is it always the coach?

Had he gone for it and didn't make it, we can assume K would have marched down the field the same as they did. Everyone in here would instead of complaining about him not going for it would be saying he is stupid for going for it.

We have to consider the fact that public officials tend to freak-out these days over anything hurricane like. "never can be too safe" public stance has lead to ridiculous over reactions already this year. Never discount the hype around a tropical something - deserved or not.
