i'm not saying he couldn't, but he may as well be dan marino compared to reed. mcgee was a solid qb. you guys woulda been in the natty last year with a qb like mcgee.

A&M’s head coach screwed their season before it began with piss poor hiring of replacement coaches/coordinators, thinking inflating Reed’s ego was more important than bringing in competition at QB, and doing poor job of evaluation to replace the talent lost on the DL and OL.
I don’t know if he had a one year lapse or if he got too comfortable after new contract.
