Yeah that’s my only beef. If all of this waited until Ole Miss season was over fine. A rule needs to be in place. BK would have finished season at LSU. Their record would be unchanged. Ole. It’s finishes their season and go as far as they do. Recruits can stay out because portal is open 15 days after coach leaves so they can stay or go as they please any way.

This thread is very indicative of what life will be like with Kiffin as LSU’s HC. Y’all are going to be some whiney bitches about it for years to come.

Elko moved up in class. Kiffin to LSU is a lateral move.

That’s not a lateral move right now. He would be stepping down in class regarding the current standing of the teams.

That’s not a slight against LSU, it’s just the current standing of the teams.

Kiffin may be Saban 2.0. Go to LSU help get their program back on tract and when Alabama parts ways with DeBoer he ends up in TTown. Lane always looking to move up.

None of those players have any loyalty to him or that school since NIL. This is the new age and he knows that. You can't develop a player because every off-season so many leave to chase more NIL money. It's a what have you done for me lately thing now. Loyalty went out the window with the introduction of NIL.

Spot on. You know you hit a homer on your hire when every team in the SEC rolls into you message board saying what a terrible team you are and your new coach is loser! The collective IQ of this bunch of whiners is one for ages! Appreciate the confirmation we made a home run hire.

If you are coaching college football and that’s what you want to do, LSU is a top 4 job in the country. You are just a dumbass hater.

What a total pos. Abandoning his team like that.

Blame the NCAA they are the ones who dictate the calendar. Unless you expect schools to keep coaching vacancies open through signing periods.

Not 100% sure you can say he's abandoning them.... as I understand that he is wanting to coach them to the end, but Ole Miss is saying no. Can't really blame him because they are afraid of poaching… But he's gonna probably poach them anyway.
