Deboer has officially turned Alabama into Washington

Russell can sling it just like Penix, he has good receivers and good corners (just like Odunze on offense and Trent McDuffie at CB) But just like how Michigan skull fricked them in the natty due to soft line play, you’re seeing it at Bama now.
Soft as frick OL and DL, you have to out skill the other team in order to win. The problem is, that worked in the old PAC 12, it doesn’t work in the SEC. You HAVE to be strong in the trenches and his teams aren’t

Team takes on the mind set of the coach. He’s soft, confused and utterly incompetent. Kane has the defense playing good ball. They’ve given up 7. This is anti Saban ball tho.

I'm not convinced we can't run the ball this year. When we do we've had some decent success. The problem is we won't commit to running the ball and getting into any kind of rhythm. The sequence that led to our first FG is a good example. First and goal from the 9, rush for 4. Second and goal from the 5, rush for 4. Third and goal from the 1? Time to throw out of an empty backfield!
