I just made a post about it kn the other board, however, there is still time for Alabama to clean things up but....they don't look good.
This is why I appreciate having Lane as our coach so much!! There is a standard that has returned to LSU football that has been missing since Saban left. Everything must be done correctly, there is no celebration for doing things you are supposed to do, Lane says don't let up late, and he did you see how prepared the 2nd team offense was when they came in? Clark was locked in.
Mcelroy said LSU looked like a well oiled machine halfway through our first game.

We are just not that good as a team, our offense line is not SEC standards, our coaching staff doesn't teach football as indicated by penalties, and our defense sucks in important plays

Our coach is hands down better, more intense, higher standard, more sacrifice, and more knowledgeable than any other coach in the SEC besides Kirby.
Russell will get better as the season goes, but he is dependant on his O line. Alabama may not even be a good game. Tennessee also has a true freshman QB.
I fully expect to leave Oxford with a double- digit win.
A& M at night is a W.

We are so fricking set for a Championship run.
