It doesn't matter. What's all that talent gotten them??? Not a damn thing. What a waste

I've been a Georgia fan for more than 40 years and I want another national championship as much as anyone. I know the frustration of waiting so long. But to claim Kirby hasn't won "a damn thing" is the height of absurdity. He's dominated rivals, won big games, and made Georgia a team to fear. If winning it all is all that matters, there are a lot of teams that don't matter. Georgia matters.

the east is notoriously weak, it takes away from your argument... you barely beat Notre Dame... and LSU throttled you the last two years... schedule has been weak for sure

Thanks. I think it is a fair analysis. Hopefully we can end the 1980 thing soon, too.

Dude. You really want to talk about us barely beating ND and what LSU did to us two years ago? I mean...ND has beaten LSU the last two times they played. now tell me what that proves.

Also, the east beat the west two years ago head to head, and broke even last season, so apparently the west is notoriously weak, too. Shame west teams struggle to beat notoriously weak teams, isn't it?

What top 15 ooc team does LSU ever schedule? Hilarious when other SEC teams trash ND when they're scheduling GSU or Southern Miss.

If UGA ever wins it they will be unbearable, but it may also open the flood gates and they could win a couple of championships.

We make fun of 1980, because it defies logic. UGA gets so close, but can’t grab the ring.

Athens is a great college town. ATLANTA is an hour away. Great school. Great economy. Great facilities. Huge financial resources. Very big recruiting base.

Georgia should be the best program in the SEC.

Richt recruited very well. Georgia has had some very good teams. There is no shame in not beating Saban in a couple of huge games.

Btw winning recruiting battles 312 points to 309 points to 300 points is meaningless. It is meaning ful to be in the top five/ten year after year

That is the tough thing about titles. Georgia was so frustratingly close in 2018. Kirby wins that one and this entire conversation goes differently.

I used to think the same thing about Bob Stoops. He won his one and only natty so early in his career and never repeated the feat. If he had not won that one, his whole career looks different.

I mean schedules are usually made years in advance so it’s kind of hard to know who is gonna be good. We did beat UT who was ranked top 10 at the time we beat them, and they just so happened to throttle UGA in the sugar bowl the year before. Obviously UT turned out to be just a top 25 team instead of top 10, but clearly not a GSU or southern miss

In Smart's tenure at UGA, Alabama has been #1 3 times, UGA twice. That isn't UGA domination.

7 point win is a throttling?

A 5 loss team. Notre Dame turned out to be a top 15 team and ranked higher than any ooc opponents LSU has had in a while.

Probably the person who doesn't know how to use proper punctuation. Not surprising LSU fans struggle with this since their school is too poor to afford a library.

UGA sells prospects on life after football better than most. All the business connects, coaching opportunities, and careers in media.

I was at the game. It wasn’t close. Yall scored a late td in garbage time to pull it to one score. I never said the UT win was better than Notre Dame, but UT is still clearly way better GSU and southern miss

If your initial post to me wasn't a troll then I apologize. The rant has turned into shots back and forth, primarily between LSU and UGA recently.
