Everyone thinking UGA is the only one paying recruits is out of touch. Look, everyone does it. Maybe UGA is willing to spend more.. maybe not.. but lets say "offers" are the same from UGA, LSU, and Bama.... While it pains me to say, UGA has the most to offer. Better Academics by far, arguably best college town in the entire country, beautiful campus/elite facilities. Why is it so hard to understand why UGA is recruiting like they do? Mix all of that with an elite recruiter and this is what you get. Yea, 1980... These kids don't care. UGA could have easily won 2 Natty's.. very recently.. Kids want to compete for them, and UGA is as good of a place as anywhere in the country to do so.

Sidenote: Kirby hasn't beat Saban or O yet. Everyone relax.

Add in that NO ONE works harder at recruiting than Kirby. The guy doesn’t sleep. We lost SECC, he used press conference to pitch WR needs and got a commit out of it.

UGA does not dominate recruiting. The difference between our class and LSU's class at 4 is approximately one 5 star and a 3 star. That is not dominating.

Kirby’s biggest fault is that it has taken him 4 years to come to terms with the fact that he needs to delegate the offense to guys who know offense. He is a stellar HC from a program management and recruiting standpoint, just needs to take a note out of O’s playbook and let the guys he hires on offense do their jobs

It doesn't matter.

What's all that talent gotten them???

Not a damn thing.
What a waste.

An SECC, 3 East titles, A CFP win, a Rose Bowl and a Sugar Bowl win...

Kirby’s done everything but win it all. And his first class of recruits are just now Seniors.

Well said. Hand the keys of the offense over, focus on having an elite D... UGA will be a big, big problem for years.

What?

3 trips to the SEC championship and one to the national championship=nothing? I mean below our increased standards but nothing?

You don't think he dominates recruiting? He has clearly surpassed Saban as being the closer in the game. I don't just mean this year, but all of his classes as a whole.. UGA dominates. At the end of the day though, You can only play 11 people.

You are a fricking retard. Trolls think because UGA got to the Natty in Kirby’s 2nd year that he has been at UGA - 10 years.

This is Year 4 - and he has had 3 top recruiting classes and one of those classes haven’t graduated high school yet.

Ron Zook use to recruit good also.

At the end of the day he needs to win the big one. Richt recruited good and competed in the sec.

Kirby has this working against him. I don't know which way it'll go for him. But I'll be watching.

Their best season in 40 years? 3 straight trips to the SECC? 3 top 10 finishes?

You LSU fans are really upset over UGA recruiting. Why I'll never know. You just won a national title with a head coach who is a moron that can barely speak. Relax!!!

Richt competed for the SEC once every 5 years. 2002, 2007, and 2012 were his best years. Smart has competed for the SEC 3 out of the 4 years hes coached.

Smart has won at a far, far higher level than Zook.

You think this was a post about being upset? Holy frick. I just complimented UGA.. And said I understand 100% why kids choose UGA.. Go look at my posting history.. I dont start threads to troll or because I'm "upset".

And you are correct.. We did just win one. Our 3rd since UGA's last.. Also, our "Moron" of a head coach just dominated UGA 2 years in a row. Relax
