You are probably right, but posting 2021 recruiting rankings in December 2019 right after ESD is a defensive and insecure reaction to unhappiness with the way signing day went. In other words, a melt.

That being said, you should not melt. UF is recruiting well enough to make the playoffs if things bounce your way.

Well everyone says Mullen is a lazy recruiter, so getting off to a good start should be a good thing, right? I don't expect to recruit as well as Georgia or Bama, or LSU because Mullen just isn't as bright or personable as those head coaches, but getting a good start seems to me to show that maybe this is the year he won't be as lazy as he supposedly has been in all the previous years. So I am chalking it up as a positive.

Florida just doesn't have the magic pull of those other schools, so if we can finish top 6 in the SEC we should be happy.

UF will never fulfill its potential with Mullen there unless he wakes up.
He's a good coach but he just doesn't get recruiting and that he has to fire people, He needs to be cutthroat like Meyer was.

Good thing Mullen is lazy and waits until the end to recruit anyone. We should end up #1 if that is the case.

Just looked at your 2021 class. I see a Carlos Del Rio committed at QB. Is he related to the Del Rio kid y'all had a couple of years ago? (Luke? Something like that)

‘ They want Florida fans to be miserable more than they want to be happy‘

Absolutely true statement there. At least for me.

Saying that he will never fulfill his potential after being only the 3rd coach (Spurrier, Meyer) in UF history to win 10 games back to back is pretty funny. I am going to let the man do his job and if he keeps us finishing in the top 10 you won't see me micro-managing him. Meyer wasn't that savage when it came to firing coaches, he was always more bark than bite. Meyer was more sleazy where Mullen is just cheesy.

Sounds like the old days with CMR.

We were a perrenial top 5 in recruiting a year out. Then things usually fell apart in February

I'm speaking of UF potential not Mullen's.
UF has the potential to be a top 5 program on the field. We were for a long time. The winningest team in the country from 1990-2010.

Hope I'm wrong but I don't see how we get back to that, the way things are going right now. Something will have to change.

ND leading and Bama at 17 should have been the first clue toward the validity of this ranking at this time

This is awesome. You looked around for something to brag about. You saw weird arse Mullens in one corner of the room humping the wall. You saw Megan in the other corner licking players. You saw a team full of rejects and also rans. You saw an utterly douchebaggiest fanbase. And so all you had left was...we're 4th in 2021 recruiting with 7 commits and no 5-stars.

Cheers to you sir, you pathetic SOB.

UF and Mullen need an elite recruiting DC like UGA and Smart need an elite game planning OC. Neither school will get it done with Grantham and Coley respectively.

I dont think Granthams recruiting for 2019 and 2020 are a problem for UF. Any success that those classes had were on the defensive side of the ball.

As a matter of fact, I think the 2020 UF defensive class probably grades higher than UGA

Thank you! Del Rio is not an extremely common name, so I was wondering.
