That's big for SC. I truly do believe he can be a great QB. He just needs to get his head right

Nice pick up S Carolina. I agree, he could be an amazing QB for you guys.
As an Ag, certainly wouldn't mind having him. Preferably as a back-up cause we need a good one!!
Hopefully we will see more of Rattler eating tuff next year as our defensive line towers over him. Lol.

Yeah but I figured he’d go west coast or to at least an offensive friendly team. South Carolina isn’t that. I’ve also just never understood the appeal for South Carolina

Have you seen who else they picked up in the portal? South Carolina is basically signing half of the Sooner refugees.

Do you mean ever? or just the last few years?
When Spurrier was here and we were whipping yall easily it was much more appealing. The fan base supports football here, so even with a bad team we show up, but with a good team Williams Brice absolutely rocks. lots of appeal from that standpoint.

IMO Rattle is the most accurate passer to ever play at Oklahoma. I hope he does well at USC and gets a first round draft pick. When he was playing PFF had Rattler as the highest rated QB under pressure... Stinking Lincoln was in over his head it just took a while to show up .....
Stogner took most of this season to get his mojo back but he played great versus Okie St. Last season a deep thigh bruise turned into sepsis and Stogner was in the hospital for weeks maybe longer. But it may have that STInkin Lincoln forgot what a TE was untill Iowa State completes 25 passes in a row to their TE versus Oklahoma.
Then STInkin Lincoln copied the ISU plays.
Beamer coached at Oklahoma he knows these guys.. Congrats on winnin the East in 2022.....

Not going to lie, first few games I thought Beamer was in over his head. Plus he had the almost creepy super nice guy attitude.
But it looks like he's putting shite together. 6-6 with the team he had this year is an accomplishment.
I think USC might have made the best hire of that cycle.

How is the truth smack talk? He was hosting autograph parties all off season because everyone assumed the Heisman and #1 overall pick for him. He had the bigger booth over names like Emmitt Smith, and they were coming up to him instead of the other way around.
His head got too big, he sucked. He got benched. If he goes back to being an underdog people will cheer for him and he has a chance to show out.

Maybe it had more to do with his HC not being the QB whisperer some believe.
