South Carolina isn’t that. I’ve also just never understood the appeal for South Carolina

I mean, that's absolutely foolish. We may have been a dumpster fire since Spurrier left but our facilities are new, in the top tier, he'll play in front of a rabid 80,000 fans every week, and he'll be the immediate starter under a coach he's familiar with.

Why wouldn't he find that appealing?

Maybe it had more to do with his HC not being the QB whisperer some believe.

I believe he is trash but his coach has coached 3 Heisman finalist, 2 winners. He inherited a system that can’t fail (Oklahoma) and underachieved. Him and Ryan Day are in the same boat.

Lets see. Baker Mayfield came in under Stoops as the HC who has always had good Qbs. It was his 5th year only that Stoops was not there. Kyler also came in under Stoops. He did play more for Lincoln but alos has one of the best WR corps in the country and an OL that had 4 NFL draft picks. Hurts was developed at UA and did not improve at OU but was given an opportunity as you in a the perfect system. Something all 3 of those have in common is they transferred in and were not recruited under Lincoln nor fully developed under Lincoln.

His first real recruit and chance to develop was Spencer Rattler who many gave high expectations based on the other who transferred in. But yet Lincoln failed there and he was benched.

Before we start crowning Riley the QB whisperer lets see how he does with a recruit from start to finish. Something he has yet to do. Just saying

This

The three QBs that already had experience Baker, Kyler, and Jalen, knew how to play before seeing STInkin Lincoln. LR was in over his head didn’t know what to do as HC and his offense was diagnosed by the Big 12, all teams play everyone every year....

USC is lucky to get Rattler

Almost every post regarding SR from Ok fans is nothing but supportive. That's saying something for both the fan base and the young man.
