I fully disagree, and so did almost every Georgia fan before Lloyd committed to SC.

Don't rule out Evans's to UGA.
Yeahhhh, that's simply not happening.

That is true. But is it wrong to say that Bigsby's stock is rising rapidly?
Some opinions can justifiably change with recent info.

I don’t think it will but it’s not out of the realm of possibility. It’d be a fight to get him and it would be an even bigger fight to keep him but it’s absolutely something Kirby and Dell could do given their track record recruiting RB talent

So Milton dropped to Georgia last night, and Bijan should be committing to Texas on Friday
A lot of talk back and forth on that. Momentum swayed back to Texas, and OSU mods are saying similar stuff to what Texas' mods were saying 2 weeks ago; if he delays it's good, if not it's bad.
I don't know what changed, but I don't buy the distance factor, as travel is a flight from AZ to TX or Ohio anyway. If he wants to play at Texas, more power to him

Yes. He’s always been rated higher than Lloyd, but when we thought Bigsby was the lock to SC and Lloyd was headed to Athens we went off film (at least IMO). Yes, Bigsby ran a decent 40 time, but it’s not like his stock rose from a bunch of great performances.

I think people are hoping Bigsby’s film is going to improve now that his 40 has improved. We will see how RB rankings shift over the next few months

Family had a lot to do with it but it wasn't distance.
Pepaw was driving the bus and he liked what Texas showed in terms of the total package for his grandson.
Bijan has family who played in the NFL. They know the game.
They just weren't interested in UoA truthfully.

Rumor is his mom is saying Zach Evans is going to Bama.
Don't know how involved she is but that is what she is telling people in Galena Park.

I hope so. We need a running back but we also need at least 2 or 3 o-line players so some attrition will have to happen for sure since Guillory is a take.
Y'all just being greedy

Until I see evidence to the contrary, Lloyd >> Bigsby... You know where I stand dot34

IMO, as far as backs this class go
Evans - alone at the top. Truly elite prospect.
Milton, Mclellan, Robinson, etc. - very strong second grouping. Think Trey Sanders would have been here if he were in this class.
Lloyd, Tank, McGowan, etc. - third group. Very little difference between group two and group three.
Overall it’s a deep RB class, but Evans is the only sure fire all American, as far as my eye reads it.

I watched both players film, and felt Lloyd was the better back, personally. There seemed to be a little something missing from Bigsby's game.
Since that time, I have seen some different film on Bigsby that showed me the something that was missing. Tank moved way up in my estimation. Still, I think Lloyd is the better back, but awhile back I was skeptical of Tank. I am not longer skeptical. Whoever gets either back will be getting a great player with a lot of upside.

I actually have Lloyd up there with Milton and Tank right there with them.
McGowan? Not sold on him.
I really like McClellan and Robinson, although Robinson seems more like an APB than a regular RB. They would be in my third grouping, though.

Those are fair suggestions. As I said, I think the pecking order is relatively close after Evans. Just wanted to provide some type of grouping so as to not oversimplify it down to "Evans and everyone else"

I didn't mean to insinuate your opinion was wrong. You very well could be right.
Those were just the way I saw it. I could be wrong....but really, I thought we were right there pretty much on the same page..

Probably not in the way you are thinking. He is obviously a big back size wise, but they split him out wide for passes and used him a lot in their passing game....thus All Purpose back. That was not meant to insinuate that he could not be an every down back. Michel was used more in our passing game, but could easily have carried the entire load. I wasn't dissing him...just saying he was versatile. Iow, it was meant as a compliment.
