Can't see someone calling a presser just to say he is still bama. Press would rake him over the coals for that.

I think he will shine in any defense. He's a MIKE through and through. He's a great player and I hate Bama is losing him, but I guess he feels Auburn is a better place.

I saw him make some great tackles including a great face mask against LSU even with his cast on. Tray was one of my fave players. He talked to my son for an hour in the Alumni tent one day. He was a Lil ball of hate on the field. He stayed hurt cause he played so hard.

Could be that he's just tired of people trying to claim they know he's going to flip or go somewhere else and constantly being told his word basically means nothing due to him being committed "100%" has pushed him to make a public statement?
