No offense Georgia fans but your staff knows jack crap about qbs. They thought the world of Fields, yet he can’t pass. Did you watch the Ohio State spring game or see his stats? If I was recruit two schools standout as qb factories and it’s not UGA. Clemson and OKlahoma. Now if we are talking lbs I am sure Georgia would be up there.

Jake Fromm proves otherwise.

You’re aware every school in the country, including Oklahoma, wanted Justin Fields, right?

OU never recruited Justin Fields. Fields said if OU wanted him he was ours. Riley knew Jalen was a proven qb. He went with someone who can pass and run. At no time other than in Justin Fields mind or Texas A@M fans minds was he ever invited to come to OU for a visit or to commit. Where you thought you heard that info was wrong. I do not believe he was even recruited out of high school. I could be wrong on the latter but definitely not on the first part. Riley now has his pick of the litter. He had two 5 stars at the OU camp 2 weeks ago and both were pretty much saying they both wanted to commit. Riley offered one qb which was Vandergriff in 2021. The 5 star out of Washington DC was the other at camp but no offer was made. From what people have said that kid is also a elite qb. Someone will be lucky to get him as well. Fromm isn’t a great qb regardless of any mock drafts you see him going in first round. When he is blitzed or pressured he has no vertical game to speak of. He is a good passer who is a game manager. He throws intermediate decent anything deeper he isn’t accurate. He excels at the 8-10 yard passes. That isn’t working in the NFL.

You have shitty offenses. Nobody talks about SEC offensive ingenuity because it doesn't exist. Just deal with it.

Don't you find it funny when Aggy talks crap about the big 12? They couldn't even win in that league but yet the talk trash. The sec is a good league but a&m has really gotten ahead of themselves since they left without winning anything

And UGA seems to be the favorite for Caleb Williams, said 5* from DC. I'd be happy with him.

So we think he's going to stay committed? I'd wait to see how Rattler does before counting those chickens.

Fields is gonna have a great year for Ohio State. You don’t know WTF you’re talking about.

And oh yeah - Dawgs are taking Raym out of Oklahoma as well.

And FTR, neither Baker Mayfield nor Kyler Murray started out at OU. Had to get awfully lucky and ATM especially had to be awfully ignorant for that to even happen.

Good point. Plus if you can't keep even the the Chris Robinsons and Austin Kendalls of the world how do you expect to keep Rattler and the like from transferring? I don't expect for a second that Vandergriff will stay committed to OU.

Robison has substance abuse problems and was kicked off the team, he didn't just "transfer". Kendall hit his ceiling and was never going to start here. He has accuracy issues.

By the time Vandagriff gets to Oklahoma, Rattler will be in his 3rd year at OU and Lincoln likes his QBs to redshirt anyway. His timing will be perfect for him.

How many QBs has Riley had at OU that started after redshirting at OU?

At OU his QBs have been Baker and Murray, that's it. Neither of those guys were even there to redshirt at OU.

And No crap, everyone would like their QBs to redshirt - it means the guy in front of them is good

Riley has only been here since 2015 and his predecessor left him with an empty QB room. That's what all the transfers have been about. That and Kendall not developing well and Robison showing up to practice drunk and getting kicked off the team. He had one scholarship QB on the roster who has never played a down of college football when he brought in Hurts (Kendall was never going to play here). What's your point?
