Gilbert was in touch with LSU. The information I had was correct as far as My sources knew. I won't say he lied. I don't know. I can tell you a lot more about my relationship with coaches. There have been many I still think of as friends. But my time has passed. So I will never do so again. But I still get info. This info turned out horribly inaccurate. That is recruiting.

So what you’re saying is that since Gilbert signed on the 16th that LSU committed a recruiting violation by still recruiting him.

That's unclear to me, but Gilbert definitely committed a violation if he didn't inform coaches that he had signed.

LSU also picked up a 3rd safety who is from the BR area Matt Longlois
The kid is talented no doubt, but not in a position where we had to have him.

Yea LSU doesn’t need any more safeties . Got two studs and more on the way next year
