In all seriousness, thanks for these kinds of comments. LSU has an incredible class, and I know your class isn't hurt much by missing this kid.

According to who? 247 pay board?
Honestly, I find it best to take everything those guys say with a huge grain of salt.
Signed LOIs have to be submitted to the conference within 24 hours and then they're submitted to the NLI. This should be pretty easy for sec member institutions to verify. Also, recruits are "legally" obligated to inform coaches that they've signed. If Gilbert continued to let himself be recruited after signing, then he committed a violation, so I really doubt LSU was recruiting him hard this week.
