Nah LSU nausea.. I don't get the hype of LSU being #1. But I guess it will make the fall more fun to watch.

Both schools have recruited very well. A big part of a kids development is S&C. When you look at the S&C coordinators at Bama and LSU, you see 2 of the best in the business.

Whatever... All of LSU's talent is stocked at RB and DL positions.

Nice way of starting a good debate.

quote:

All of LSU's talent is stocked at RB and DL positions. Only 1 RB can carry the ball at a time and their DEs are only effective on 3rd and longs...

The faith in mettenbrg is only a huge collective prayer

Soooooo, if you knew the answer to your own question. Why did you start this thread.

The unknown is LSU and Bama(fans stop thinking our teams can't be beat) could take a couple of losses. It's hard to stay undefeated.

OL- Very close and I'd say even because it's just too close. Cyrus K is the best talent.

bama doesnt have a lot of depth on the OL. they've got a few freshmen coming in who could develop into good players. but their starting five is better than any starting five in the country.

Agree with most of what you said in your post.Besides LSU being more talented last year.Alabama had the better team last year and most scouts, analysts etc felt the same.LSU has the better 2012 team as of now.

RB-I think Bama has the top 2 talents in Yeldon and Hart but LSU's depth wins this one overall. All of LSU's guys are at the Eddie Lacy level and just a slight notch below Yeldon and Hart. Advantage LSU because 5 guys have proven their talent and Jeremy Hill may be the best of the group as the 6th.

You lost me here. If Lacy can stay healthy( remains to be seen) , he will lead all of these people in rushing.

WR-Advantage Bama though I believe Beckham is the best talent of the 2 groups. Bama's depth is a level better than LSU's.

This is insane talk. LSU is returning far more exp and we have 5 star talent at wr also.

does that mean Arkansas has more talent than LSUn since they've gone 3-2 against yall the last five years?

This statement proves that recruited talent is only one part of the equation and is "NO" guarantee of winning, even though it is crucial.

at Bama fans....you do understand that Rivals have twice as many Bama subscriptions than any other team right? You do realize the men who run rivals are bama fans right? Hmmmm......go figure they have that many #1 classes, it's a business son, they aren't dumb over there....I'd do the same thing obviously LSU has just as much talent

Wow. RB's that haven't even stepped on the field in a live game are better and more talented than LSU's RB's.

.....and some of you Bama fans wonder why you have such a homerific reputation.

Mett will roast the bama defense this yr. if we had a passer last yr then it would have been ugly. Bama secondary was overrated.
