well it is.
Is it? It’s a book that was written in the 1800s and they stuck to the book pretty close.
So instead of watching it with droopy face because you think someone is trying to make you feel bad, watch how you’re supposed to and as a historical event.
Slavery happened, did it not? It was fricking awful, was it not? There was nothing in that movie that made me feel some sort of white guilt BS. I watched it with a historical eye and nothing more.

I plan to buy 200+ shares for long term. Once I buy it, I’m not touching it. Same goes for NVIDIA. I got in at $130.
Seeing SpaceX still climbing is frying my nerves all the while I see about 50/50 “oh, it’s gonna dip, no doubt.” I suppose I should learn patience.

I’m totally new to all of this and I plan to eventually load quite a bit into this stock. I chickened out on the opening.
But I’m also reading a lot on social media that they expect the price to eventually come down below $150. Is that normally the case? I want to set the limit at $125-$135 to buy but I’m so torn on what to do.
Explain to me like I’m 5 before I put a lot of money into this stock and just let it sit for years.

This post makes total sense. Especially considering no one in NY cares about the Nets at all.
Def makes sense for them to move out of the city to Nashville or something.
No fans. No revenue. No one in or around NYC cares about the Nets.

I don’t disagree with any of that.
IMO, this is all Dana Brown’s doing. And probably some of Crane too because he seems pretty difficult to work with. I think you need a strong personality like Luhnow was to stand up to him and tell him what’s needed and to push back.
The MLB roster is mediocre. The minors are in awful shape. And I don’t see anything changing anytime soon.
To be fair to the organization, they’re not NY or LA. So when the pendulum swings one way for over a decade, it’s always going to swing back and I think that’s where we are right now. They HAVE to get rid of Brown and hire someone that can build the farm system up or we’re going to watch teams like this for a while. And if Brown were a GM capable of building the farm, we’d already see an improvement by now and we just haven’t. The quality of every team across the board from the top down has decreased for a while now.
He’s gotta go.

A manager obviously has a role in the game, but to put most of the blame there is and always will be ridiculous.
You can only build a decent home with good, solid tools.
See Walt Weiss. Did he all of the sudden become some magician? Has never won more than 75 games in a season. He’s already more than half way there with a good roster that can be used to build something
I get it, he’s the captain of the ship, blah blah blah, and that’s all it will ever be, but doesn’t mean it’s true or I have to agree with it.

What can be done better with the shite pitching staff and what are the expectations for them?
What could Espada done better with the lack of talent in the OF?
What would the Astros record be right now if they had, let’s say…. Kevin Cash or a Walt Weiss? Now mind you, Weiss didn’t have a great record in Colorado…. How about Dave Roberts?
How many games better would the Astros be with one of those guys? Remember, consider the roster!

Hopefully the 80% and the word of mouth boosts sales. I understand people don’t really go to the movies as much anymore but I’m sure once it hits streaming it may make more money as well.
Seems like social media is very high on it and every negative review I see there’s quite a bit of pushback on said review.

Spoooiiilleerrrrrr
Big spoiler
He’s at the end for 5 seconds. I was disappointed he wasn’t in it as much because in the show, he was there all the time. He was a pillar. Even in the intro of the cartoon….only three know about Adam’s secret….
The Sorceress, Man-At-Arms, and Orko.
So they detoured from that a little bit and everyone knows in the movie.
If you’ve gotten this far, I took a picture of him at the end if anyone wants to see it. took it to show my older brother because we were knee deep into He-Man growing up.
