On Taggart
“The biggest thing I like about him is that he was at our schools down here the day after he was signed. He was out talking to us. That meant a lot to me. It showed that he doesn’t just want to be in his office. He wanted to get out and talk to us. He wanted to reach out.” -- Class-of-2020 athlete Derek Wingo
On Mullen
“I would like to see him come out a little bit more. I’ve seen a lot of his assistants come out and talk to us, though. They talk about getting us up to the campus and getting us in on visits.” – Wingo
Taggart
“I’m loving him. He’s a pretty good coach. He recruited me even back when he was at USF and then offered me at Oregon. He’s following me this year. I like him.” – Athlete Trevor Solomon-Wilson
Mullen
“I don’t really know him. He’s sent me stuff. Two or three letters, but that’s it.” -- Solomon-Wilson
Good to see Mullens still recruits the same way he did at MSU. Have Fun Gators!

Lol, Mullen competing with Richt, Taggart, Kirby, Pruitt, and Saban for recruits, yikes.

Certainly doesn’t sound good, but it’s two recruits, where are they from? Is it UF friendly? I need more context than this. I can’t imagine Mullen has had time to stop by every school in Florida multiple times, probably just the ones with targets we are after. I’d like to here more after summer, I’ve been skeptical of Mullen but it isn’t fair to paint an entire picture from two recruits this early.

Moo State fans seemingly have the same butthurt over Mullen that LSU fans have over Saban

Two kids. One in 2020? I'm scared.
Never mind the fact that the "lazy" guy completely dismissed a 4 star QB that he didn't want for his system which was a sure thing and went and chased a chance that suited his system better. Pretty sure if he was lazy, he just stayed with Corral and said screw it. Instead he went after who he wanted and took a big risk in doing it. Seems a good sign to me. Add in the class he left you is pretty darn good. Should just say thank you for saving our shitty University from four win seasons and shut up already. Sad little left behind orphans. Leaving the big boy table and back to the little kids seats where Miss State belongs.

Trevor Solomon-Wilson is from Tallahassee and doesn't have an offer from UF, and Mullen was at St. Thomas Aquinas today and extended an offer to Wingo and a number of other underclassmen there.
People seem to be pretty happy with the job Mullen is doing so far and he is out all over the place on the recruiting trail, but thanks for looking out for us.

FSU going to stomp little bro for another decade

This thread is ignorant. Great sample size and one kid is a 2020 prospect. This is a transition class, meaning an extremely high percentage of focus is on closing out the current one strong because they are already years behind in building a relationship.

The article made the recruits sound clueless

Please stop you don’t go from a all girls school to big brother. We have and always will be big brother. Get outta here.

Mississippi State will become a recruiting juggernaut now that they finally got rid of that anchor, Dan Mullen.

The girls school won a natty before "big brother"

Isn't Miami "big brother"? They lead the series against UF and FSU. Had multiple national titles before either won their first.
Florida does lead in all-time wins.
Florida 714
Miami 623
Florida State 546

What are their win%? UF probably started its football program earlier than the other two.

34-26-2 Florida
Largest victory Florida 49-0
Longest Streak Florida 9 (68-76)
You can have your participation trophy for first natty. We are the Flagship. Miami can claim what they want, they have more titles, but screw the FSU is big brother bullshite.

Probably not, but you can count on us beating LSU for the next couple of years

Fsu fans have delusions of reality. Miami and UF are the heads of state. Both academically and athletically. Fsu is the liberal arts outcast.
