It was a different staffer that was pushing for him to visit. Kelly told him we wherent interested any more. We are looking for more of an instant impact fix at CB

LSU wasn't going for his asking price and that's really all there is to it. Great get for A&M. Hopefully he works out better than Tony Grimes

Dude he would be an instant upgrade on LSU D. No big issue.

Schools figure out who they want to pay. LSU just did not choose to offer a big enough bag. They have plenty of money.

To each his own. Don't shite on recruits.

What? He has only a few garbage time snaps. LSU needs ready to play DB’s. The when the portal is open after the Spring there will be a better round of DB options:

This makes no sense. The guys the transfer after spring as the ones who got beat out & aren’t expected to get major PT, not guys who you want to start.

True and false. Especially with NIL. Typically you can find at least a few In the Portal with starting experience, worthy of the hype and potential cost of their NIL. Rick’s is none of that atm.

If Aggie thinks they still can buy a championship then you’re looking at another 8-4 or worse season…. Again

?

I never shite on a recruit. I stated the facts.

1. Desmond Ricks entered the portal.
2. LSU was seen as the favorite.
3. Ricks scheduled a visit.
4. LSU had a lengthy conversation with Ricks.
5. At the end of said conversation, LSU informed him they were not interested in him.
6. Ricks cancels visit.

These are all facts. Not conjecture or speculation.

Just to be clear, usually when this kind of stuff comes out it's because, well into a recruitment, a player informs a team that he's no longer interested in them. Then insiders (look at you Tim Watts) spin a narrative of "oh we never even considered him, we dropped out of the race, he didn't have a committable offer."

That's not the case here. He entered the portal and within a day, LSU told him they were not interested in him. That is the entirety of his portal recruitment. Not some cover story because LSU lost out on a kid.

I wouldn’t be shocked if our coaches were able to pull him back in with Amos transferring. If they can’t we will probably just grab the Washington DB in the portal.

I’m not linking On3 behind a paywall but that’s literally what Shea Dixon said. Why else do you think he announced his visit to LSU and canceled?

I know you guys are used to hearing the same line from Texas fans about recruits that choose the Aggies but I don’t know what to tell you. Take it up with On3 if you have an issue. LSU, UF, and Bama were the finalists for him last year, not sure why yall think it’s beyond comprehension that he reached out to LSU when he hit the portal.

Yup. It's like rich kids going to the upscale Malls and Boutiques with loads of cash from Mommy and Daddy. Some kids want to spend more on shoes, some more on jewelry, some more on shirts, etc., etc., and all going home happy.

aggy wanted to spend more on a Corner today, tomorrow, LSU will spend on a DE or DL, on Friday Texas will splurge on a RB, etc, etc.

Most of the rich kids will get theirs and some will have spent foolishly or have buyers remorse. It's all business now with the big spenders who appear to be, in no particular order, Texas, aggy, LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, FSU, Oregon, Miami, Oklahoma. No doubt Michigan, Tennessee, Penn State and USC will be big spenders as well.

Sadly, the less fortunate, wiser spenders, and poor kids can't afford the upscale Malls and will shop for bargains at WalMart, Target, Burlington, TJ MAxx, Ross and maybe get some quality stuff, but mostly cheap shite.

I don't why this amuses me so much. These 247,On3, Rivals mods are paid bulls$%t artists whose sole job is to serve up soothing propaganda to partisan fanbases.
