What other issues has he had other than the BBQ?

One 5* is certainly better than none. Hopefully he can hang onto him. A lot of 5* basketball recruits stretch out their commitments until later in the period. Even if he loses him it creates a little bit of momentum.

When he was an assistant at Iowa in he late 80's he turned in Illinois for cheating for buying a recruit a car. Illinois fans have always been butthurt about it and tried to turn it around on Pearl even though Pearl got it on tape from the recruit himself that Illinois bought him an SUV.

Apparently being a Good Samaritan and turning in cheaters counts as cheating in he minds of haters

Pearl is a coach I would love to see at Arkansas.

Aubbies just better pray that he does not cheat again, or get caught cheating. He does have quite the rep for doing so, and not at just one school. I like the guy & hope he does well but his rep is out there.

Other than lying to the NCAA about a backyard BBQ, what kind of rep does he have?

That list means nothing. If he finishes at two that is something

But wasn't Wiley pretty much an AU lock from start? I mean, Pearl would literally need to take a dump on his mom for him to go somewhere else.

As long as he liked the coaches and felt like we had potential moving forward. His parents would have been fine with him at say Duke if that's what he wanted

Jeff Long would never let it happen. His moral compass is way too high.

This reeks of Tennessee desperation. Congrats on your first week of July recruiting ranking

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't this year's team be Auburn's strongest under Bruce Pearl?

They took a big shite on the court last year, but half the roster was either hurt or ineligible.

Without question. Best basketball roster at Auburn since 2003. And the 17-18 team will be the most talented since the 98-99 Chris Porter team.

Before all the injuries during OOC play we actually looked somewhat competent. Borderline NIT caliber team even. Every Auburn fan should be excited as hell to see what the future holds for the program now that Pearl has depth and talent.
