I think people still have visions of the 21 and 22 line. The 23 version was not very strong unfortunately. Losing Jalen Carter really hurt. Still had a good defense and the line play was competent but we couldn't deal with a mobile QB worth a shite.

I heard a stat on the UGA DL the week before Ole Miss played them that was crazy. UGA rotated 10 DL and they all played about 33% of the snaps.

Nolen’s dad apparently has stepped in in the last day or so and is asking for more money. On top of that, Georgia has made a late push for him the last 48 hours. Our guys all expected him to announce for us yesterday around noon. That didn’t happen though.
At this point, if $1.5 million or $2 million isn’t enough for him, he and his dad can get fricked

Idk if y'all read other teams beat writers any, but UGA's are at the pinnacle in terms of sunshine pumping. And thats fine, some fanbases like/need that more than others.

I don’t think we have yet, but after Kirby watched our DL get pushed around this year I’m sure he’s trying to find all the $ he can for someone of Nolen’s caliber. Ole Miss is showing everyone how the portal game is done right now. I hope we can at least address our areas of need.

Kirby doesn't want to give new recruits 7 figures, that is known. Giving an established player 7 figures is different.

Think I brought this up on the Rant, but that was my one reservation in picking UGA to repeat this year outside of uncertainty at QB. UGA's DL was still good, but the gap going from "Good across the board" to "Good across the board plus having one or two true gameplan disrupters" is a big one. And being able to rotate those guys is big. Gervon Dexter IMO would have had a similar impact in college to guys like Carter and Davis, but he was playing CRAZY snap numbers for an interior DL his last year at Florida.

Yeah, his dad is running the show on that one. His initial recruitment was a shitshow as well.
