He reached out last year as well. UT has no interest unless he genuinely wants to play for them. Garner doesn’t think he’s worth his price tag.

Tennessee and Michigan are two schools most heavily involved, per ON3

We are not involved, unless we are. As mentioned earlier I don’t think CRG likes him very much.

He reached out to Tennessee about a week ago but there is no interest there. Probably asking for a ridiculous amount plus the perceived baggage of being named in the Pruitt stuff.

I think he wants to come home but the baggage is a lot. IDK if we can overcome that. Really feels like Pruitt burnt that bridge.

Garner is old school. He's hard on his players. I doubt it's price he's worried about. He wants guys that can take hard coaching and make themselves better. He demands a lot from his players and in return he turns a lot of guys into great DLs.

Where did you here Garner doesn't want him? Does Nolan have a bad rep in terms of taking to coaching or something like that?

Tennessee doesn’t have to force anything. If Tennessee wants him they will do whatever cost to try and make it happen.

THIS,

He broke Byron Cowart. He takes no shite from his players and he’s a helluva coach.

ON3 said we were in it, not Tennessee fans or even so far Tennessee writers that I know of.

Quit grasping at straws and go melt about Bama making the playoff some more.

It’s not that Garner doesn’t want him. He just believes he’s not worth the amount of money he’s asking for. Being coachable is probably part of that reasoning.

I've heard this too. For the money he is likely after you want a Jalen Carter, Chris Jones type impact from an interior DL, but you're likely getting solid starter but not quite that.

There's smoke - but I certainly wouldn't count out Oregon, Texas, or someone else making a bigger NIL offer and him jumping there.
