If you had told me a few years ago that a Powell High School guy and his dad would take the entire SEC for a ride, I'd have told you that you were crazy.

This round of his recruitment is still child’s play compared to the HS version. At least so far

I remember his dad asked UT for two millions before he committed TAM. UT declined his demand and the next minute he committed to AM. I don't know how much UT boosters paid him moving from Memphis to Powell.

Oh yeah I'd forgotten about them moving from Memphis. Honestly, Memphis explains a ton. It's just the way things are there.

Based on the history I would think a move from The Woodlands to somewhere closer to OM or UGA or wherever is part of this deal too

Ole Miss better let Nolan go to UGA and spend those two millions for top two UGA DLs.

I've seen people say stuff like this, but...what would keep Georgia from offering several of their players and wrecking their team just because. If teams start recruiting just to hurt somebody else then they will go down the drain pretty fast. If they had the kind of money and pull that it requires they would have already tried that.

You already tried this with Judkins. And you’re not getting Dart or Harris. On the other hand, we can make you pony up to keep your best Dlinemen or they will be playing for the rebels next season. No way you can afford another million for each Dlineman. Your move.

Judkins? Dart? Harris? We beat you half to death and now we want to be Ole Miss?

Y'all go ahead and try it. Hey. Maybe you are smarter than your coaches.

Since Kirby has been there, we beat you half to death once and you beat us half to death once. 2024 will be the tie breaker.

He is a huge player...but I've only seen him play in person twice.

I saw him when his high school team lost in the last 20 seconds seconds of the game (Nolen is #99). He gave up on a play where he should have had a sack...and the QB threw a TD in the corner of the end zone. BTW...the team he is playing against is a private school that finished 5-5...while Nolen's public school team wound up winning state.

The second time was when he go hurt against Tennessee.

I'm sure that the scouts see something in him besides his size...but the 2 times I've watched him, he came across as a bit soft for a DT.

his upside is enormous, but he hasnt really come close to his potential. largely due to not being able to stay healthy. hes always reminded me of marvin wilson (former nole).

He’s a great player. Just not worth seven figures in NIL money
